Swedish pro gamer and Kick streamer Lucas “Mendo” Håkansson has revealed his KPP earnings, displaying the impressive revenue he received in just three days’ time following much discussion around the program.

Mendo is a pro player who has played multiple games over the course of his career. He was most notably a pro Overwatch player, and is currently most active in Apex Legends. He is featured on Team Liquid’s roster as a content creator and often streams his high-level gameplay. His streaming activities have earned him a loyal fan following on Twitch, and Mendo is now also streaming Kick. It’s his Kick streaming that led him to share just how much money he had made in only three days, shocking viewers who were hearing from others that Kick Partnership Program revenues had decreased.

How much did Mendo make on Kick?

Kick streamer Mendo claimed to have made more than $60,000 through KPP by streaming, surprising viewers amid speculation over streamer payouts being lowered on the platform.

Mendo didn’t elaborate on his Kick revenue beyond this reveal, and just stated that this was the effect of his grinding out Kick streams for three days while barely sleeping. The streamer announced his intention to continue that grind, as the ordeal has been worth it given the massive money involved.

Kick’s official account reacted to Mendo’s tweet, seemingly confirming the amount. The streamer appreciated the response, the big surge in revenue.

Some asked for more clarification regarding the nature of the revenue and wanted to know whether he earned the money from Kick subscriptions or just the KPP. While Mendo didn’t respond to those requests for more information, the Kick Partnership Program would seem the only reasonable explanation.

This has come as a surprise to some people, given that multiple top Kick streamers have reported a significant decrease in their KPP.

If Mendo, who has just over 17,000 followers on Kick, can earn over $60,000 in three days, it would seem clear that the KPP may not have decreased broadly as some streamers claimed. Mendo has a loyal following that watches his streams, and his earnings may be higher than those of some other streamers because his streams may receive more active engagement.

Fans’ reaction has been largely positive to the reveal, with many expressing their happiness at Mendo earning his hard-earned due. His viewers have stated that Mendo has worked hard, and that his earnings now reflect that.

Some were more skeptical, however, even questioning the screenshot’s authenticity. Mendo hasn’t reacted to those claims at the time this writing, but the fact that Kick officially chimed in on his revenue boast would make it seem likely to be legitimate.
