Know My Name: Everything To Know About The Worlds 2026 Anthem

The Worlds 2026 Anthem is out, and it’s headlining all of the conversation as the tournament fast approaches. For the first time in almost a decade, True Damage takes to the stage, starring a new ensemble cast with some familiar faces. The song has divided opinions, to say the least, with most of the noise being the T1 fans, the anti-T1 fans, and fans of True Damage.
Stay tuned as we break down everything there is to know about the new Worlds 2026 anthem.
When Did The Worlds Song Come Out?
Riot Games dropped the music video for Know My Name on October 8 at 6 PM PDT, primetime for North American fans who will finally have a tournament produced, located, and played in their time zone. The song and music video were released simultaneously across their various media channels, including YouTube, which is where the majority of the audience listened to the anthem for the first time.
Who Is The Music Video About?
The music video centres around the greatest League of Legends player of all time, Faker. The video showcases the multi-time world champion and his journey alongside the legendary T1 rosters who recently won their third world title in a row. The video also showcases some of Faker’s biggest losses, including the 2017 World Championship — the famous image of faker lent over, crying in his seat, was a powerful image in the MV.
The video is a powerful piece about Faker overcoming adversity, bad losses, and evolving himself to once again lift the Summoner’s Cup. Resilience is a core part of Faker’s character, and Riot did an excellent job highlighting it.
Which LoL Champions Are In Know My Name?
As stated above, True Damage returns to the League of Legends stage after a lengthy hiatus. Riot’s hip-hop band features the same five champions that we saw in the 2019 song Giants:
- Akali – Rapper
- Ekko – Rapper
- Qiyana – Vocalist + Rapper
- Senna – Vocalist
- Yasuo – DJ + Producer
Which Artists Will Be Performing?
Sofia Reyes performing at the Worlds 2019 Final.
True Damage will see two of the original crew along with some new faces. As is the case with most Riot-made groups, it’s very difficult to keep the ensemble together, on top of Riot opting to freshen things up a bit. Here are the four performing artists in Know My Name:
- SOYEON: Soyeon features heavily in Riot Games’ music scene, having performed in both K/DA and True Damage. The i-dle star returns to the stage once again in Know My Name.
- Coco Jones: Coco Jones is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress. She has become one of the breakout stars in the R&B scene and will be making her LoL debut in True Damage.
- Vic Mensa: Vic Mensa is a Grammy-nominated musician, actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Vic’s work has been highlighted across many entertainment industries such as music, film, and art.
- Sofia Reyes: Sofia Reyes is the second original True Damage member to be returning to the stage at Worlds 2026. Reyes has established herself as one of the leading voices in Latin pop culture.
Fans will get to see True Damage take to the Worlds stage when they appear at the finals on November 14 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, where we will also see which region comes out on top with LoL’s biggest prize.
