KC vs T1 prediction: T1

Karmine Corp vs T1 is the last quarterfinal match of LoL Worlds 2026. This is the third event where these teams will play each other this year. Let’s dive through their history to see how to bet on KC vs T1 in the LoL Worlds Knockout Stage.

Karmine Corp vs T1: the Mid-Season Invitational stomp

The first ever official match opposing KC and T1 took place during the 2026 MSI. The year before, Karmine Corp only managed to qualify for First Stand, which the World champions missed.

After a hard-fought LEC final against G2 Esports, the French team came in with high hopes. Hopes was all they were running on though, and T1 swiftly dismissed them. Only one game was close as the LCK representative pulled off their trademark circus. KC’s fall was steep as they then got swept by Team Liquid to end their run short.

The revenge at the Esports World Cup

Shortly after MSI, most of the same teams gathered again for EWC. Karmine Corp started poorly as they had a very shaky 2-1 against Team Secret Whales. KC still managed to reach the quarterfinal and beat Anyone’s Legend in an upset 2-0.

T1 wasn’t in the best of forms either. The team had just finished MSI in their worst placement ever. However, T1 in a bad form is still T1. In 13 years of trying, G2 was the only Western team to manage to beat them in a series – three wins, for 18 matches against the West at official events.

As expected, Karmine Corp vs T1 started the LCK’s way as they convincingly went up 1-0. Then, KC fought back and claimed game 2 with their signature Anivia – Ezreal duo.

It was on the deciding map that the LEC representative made history. The game started as bad as it could have for KC, with 2v2, 1v1, and even 1v2 kills in every lane. However, as soon as T1’s lead crossed the 5k gold mark, they made a catastrophic mistake that slingshot Karmine back up.

Ultimately, KC threw a hail mary push as their last bet to win. Under the deafening noise of their home crowd, they became the second ever Western team to take a series win against T1.

Karmine Corp vs T1 best bets

Since KC beat them the last time they met, should we expect the same at LoL Worlds 2026? In short, absolutely not. EWC wasn’t a representative tournament, for a number of reasons. So here are some of the best bets for Karmine Corp vs T1.

My thoughts

I expect T1 to win. Karmine Corp vs T1 was a 3-0 at MSI, and KC seemingly hasn’t improved since then. On the other hand, their opponent has Worlds plot armor – even though that armor failed at MSI.
