Simon “Thebausffs” Hofverberg, known among fans as “Baus”, claims he’s getting death threats because of Marc “Caedrel” Robert Lamont’s stream.

Thebausffs is a Swedish professional League of Legends esports player who is currently the top laner for the Los Ratones. The LoL player is especially popular for his unique playing style and full attack damage Sion play. Baus understands the game’s mechanics while also playing entertainingly for fans.

The top layer also gained notoriety for trolling other players on stream, which gained him plenty of critics. Typically, these fan feuds never go past online hate comments. Recent events have added a more serious spin to the incident.

On December 17, 2024, Baus claimed in a stream that he was getting death threats because of his comments in a Caedrel stream.

Baus joked about KC player Targamas on stream

While streaming with Caedrel, Baus talked about Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé’s playing style, which sparked outrage among fans of the latter.

In the stream, Baus claimed that Targamas is too boosted, and every time he sees the player “he’s running it down.” Running it down is a League of Legends term that means intentionally running into and feeding the enemy. Caedrel and Crownie told Baus that he couldn’t be saying that but Baus doubled down and stated that he’s never had Targamas not running it down in his game.

This isn’t the first time Baus has roasted another LoL player on stream. He’s gone after Kim “Canna” Chang-dong, another Karmine Corp LoL player. Fans have been wondering if Baus is only trolling KC players. Hardcore watchers claim that he doesn’t have a filter while streaming, though others believe that’s no excuse for his behavior.

Baus is allegedly getting death threats from KC fans

The LoL player didn’t directly state from whom the death threats came from. Fans think it’s KC fans and it’s due to the Targamas comments Baus made. Baus stated that he made some comments on Caedrel’s stream about a certain person. The LoL player said he wouldn’t mention the player or team’s name but he claimed he has been getting constant death threats. Fans who read between the liens believe this is referencing Canna.

He claims that ever since his comments went viral he’s been receiving threats “every 10 minutes.” The LoL player stated that Caedrel made a rookie mistake. Baus emphasized that he could say whatever he wanted on stream. The streamer believes that once something like this makes it to YouTube, it gets viral and things get out of hand.
