List of qualified teams at First Stand 2026: Who are the favorites?
With the first split of every competitive League of Legends region concluded, the list of qualified teams for the 2026 First Stand tournament is set. Last year’s First Stand saw just five teams compete. The stakes are upped this year, with
eight First Stand teams
coming together for a chance to win the first international event of the year. Here are the teams that made it and who the outright odds have as favorites to win.
The eight teams that have qualified for First Stand 2026
Eight teams have qualified for 2026 First Stand, from the powerhouse Gen.G to the newcomer Secret Whales.
The tournament previously only had five teams, which meant one for each region. Riot Games bumped that number to eight this year. The additional three slots are filled by the
separation of LTA
into the LCS and CBLOL, and the LCK and LPL getting two slots for being the strongest professional regions.

Below are the eight LoL teams that have qualified for 2026 First Stand, as well as the regional leagues they represent:
- Gen.G (LCK)
- BNK FearX (LCK)
- Bilibili Gaming (LPL)
- JD Gaming (LPL)
- LYON (LCS)
- Team Secret Whales (LCP)
- G2 Esports (LEC)
- LOUD (CBLOL)
All of these teams qualified by performing well in their respective domestic leagues. While some teams, such as Gen.G and G2 Esports, were expected to qualify for this tournament, LYON and BNK FearX stand as two of the most surprising entries on this list.
First Stand 2026 favorites: A look at the outright odds

Gen.G has been on a strong winning streak recently, so its place at the top of the list is deserved. Although far from a favorite to win, G2 has a strong chance of placing well in this tournament, even potentially reaching the knockout round. Siding with the team performing well could be a good idea, especially considering the high potential return. Read more about this event in our

T1 just beat Karmine Corp 3-0 in the play-in stage of the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational. More importantly, T1 turned KC’s strengths into weaknesses. The bot lane and teamfight prowess that shone in the LEC were no match this time. The match started with Karmine Corp picking a disrespectful draft, blind picking three immobile squishies.
