After a close play-in run, Team Liquid barely made it to the 2026 LCS Lock-In playoffs. The team will now compete against DSG in the lower bracket with elimination on the line, ensuring that only the winner can move on from this point.

Team Liquid vs DSG match preview

Betting tip: Despite being the underdog going into the match, DSG has showcased enough skill to suggest it can cause an upset and win here over a reeling Team Liquid.

Our Team Liquid vs DSG pick: DSG to cause an upset @ 2.43.

Team Liquid vs DSG match analysis

DSG may have constructed an entirely new roster for the LCS Lock-In split, but the team’s players have already started shining. Sajed is an extremely strong ADC who has led his team to victory multiple times, and Castle is showing the potential to be one of the strongest top laners in the LCS. But Lyonz’s performance is a coin toss as the team’s support position, especially after looking at his questionable Bard gameplay against Sentinels in the upper bracket semifinals.

Team Liquid has a strong mid-laner in Quid, but he seemingly hasn’t settled into his role yet after replacing APA. The team’s strongest point is its jungler, Josedeodo. Bringing a wealth of experience, the player has performed well in every match so far, even in those that resulted in losses.

Unfortunately for Josedeodo and TL, he doesn’t typically go for carry picks that could more consistently convert his advantages into match wins, even though his ADC Yeon can sometimes be a little shaky when laning against strong opponents.

After the impressive run the team had in the group stage, it wouldn’t be surprising if Disguised plays more aggressively than usual, potentially getting a quick first blood. Thanks to this, siding with the team to get first blood may be a good idea, especially since the team’s status as the underdog means that the potential payout could be substantial if the bet pays off.

Liquid may have qualified for and performed well at last year’s First Stand, but the team’s current state is too unreliable to count on. Despite Disguised being a relatively new team compared to TL, there’s a real chance that it may cause an upset in this match and eliminate Liquid from this LCS split. Siding with the underdog to win here against the odds could be the play, especially for those chasing a potentially large payout.

This isn’t to say that things will be easy even if DSG does win. Liquid brings a wealth of experience in playing on the big stage, which could help it compete against Disguised. Taking the over on 4.5 maps may be a good idea, as there’s a strong chance of the match going the distance even of Disguised ultimately makes the upset happen.

Team Liquid vs DSG betting picks & predictions

Disguised is new to the LCS relative to Team Liquid, but it’s already making waves. The team brings strategy and skill that few LCS teams have managed in 2026, which is especially apparent when looking at Liquid’s recent lack of consistency. With all of this being taken into account, there’s a real chance that DSG could come out on top.
