After the LEC ended the competitive 2025 League of Legends year on a subpar note, top European pro teams are gearing up for 2026’s first LoL season, and out outrights betting preview will help bettors to catch the best odds and make the best picks.

Acting as the equivalent of last year’s winter split, many eyes will be on the LEC 2026 Versus for multiple reasons. In addition to this being the first time many fans see their favorite teams after the post-year roster changes, some exciting new teams have entered the fray this year. The popular Los Ratones and proven Karmine Corp Blue teams are competing from the ERL, guaranteeing a blast for viewers and increased stakes for all teams involved.

LEC Versus 2026 outright odds

G2 Esports was the only team to stand out for a majority of 2025, even landing a top-five spot in the Esports World Cup after losing to T1. Considering the team didn’t tweak its roster at all coming into 2026, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to assume that G2 could dominate the LEC again and potentially go undefeated in this split’s regular season.

Karmine Corp is another top contender this year, but much of that is because of the team’s performance at the start of 2025. Landing a number two spot in the 2025 First Stand tournament was extremely impressive, but the team’s performance fell flat after that. While the addition of Kyeahoo and Busio in the respective middle lane and support roles does show promise, it’ll likely take some time for these new players to settle into the roster as it shifts.

Best team to bet on at 2026 LEC Versus

While G2 Esports is naturally the outrights betting odds favorite, there’s a good chance that Karmine Corp Blue may be a dark horse with its longer odds at the 2026 LEC Versus.

Karmine Corp Blue may not have been around for too long, but the team’s progress has been extremely impressive. The team dominated the 2024 LFL’s spring split upon creation, and its most recent 3-0 win in the 2025 EMEA Masters Summer grand final is still fresh on fans’ minds.

While Karmine Corp Blue’s lack of experience is clear, a silver lining for the team is that its first opponent is the main Karmine Corp team. Since KCB likely has experience against Karmine Corp, it’s the perfect match for the team to get into the groove of things and get accustomed to playing in front of such a large audience before facing the other teams.

The team’s best recent showing of skill was when it won 3-0 against Los Ratones, which was considered the best EMEA team. After such overwhelming victories under its belt, there’s a good chance that the hierarchy in the LEC could see a revamp with this dark horse entry.

G2 may be a clear favorite here, but the long outright odds given to Karmine Corp Blue for LEC Versus 2026 make it an interesting team to pick given the potential return if this upstart squad can maximize its winning potential.

LEC Versus 2026 regular season schedule

The LEC Versus 2026 regular season will start on January 17, 2026, with multiple matches being played on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until the first section of the event concludes on March 1.

The regular season will consist of multiple best-of-one matches being played on the same day. Each and every team will complete the regular season after having played one match against every other team in a complete round-robin match schedule, ensuring that every team is battle-tested against its LEC rivals.
