League of Legends streamer Drututt gets Twitch ban for hashtag

Just two days after the start of the new League of Legends season, famed LoL Twitch streamer Drututt received a ban for using a seemingly trolling with his hashtag usage on the platform.
It’s a known fact that Twitch is much more strict when it comes to upholding certain rules and regulations than competitors like Kick. Streamers who say or do anything that may seem exclusionary are at risk of facing consequences, with a few exceptions.
Drututt recently faced the ban hammer again, not long after the launch of the new League of Legends season and the announcement of his participating in an NLC team in 2026. While some believe the ban is justified, those with more context believe the streamer platform may have dropped the ball.
Drututt banned on Twitch for using NOWOMEN hashtag
League of Legends streamer Drututt confirmed on X that he was banned for using a “NOWOMEN” hashtag kuve on his stream, alongside other seemingly trolling hashtags.
Testing the extent of Twitch’s rules isn’t anything new for Drututt. His actions have caused him to be under fire on Twitch multiple times before, which is why this is now his eighth ban. But the consensus this time is that the ban was unwarranted, as it doesn’t seem to have been intended as exclusionary.

Instead of meaning to insult women, Drututt claims that the hashtag simply implied that he himself doesn’t get any attention from women. The context for this is that the streamer was playing a ranged champion in the top lane. Since this is usually looked down upon, the hashtags NOWOMEN and UGLYIRL were set up to accompany his RANGEDTOP hashtag, and were all directed toward him. At least, so the streamer says.
It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that this may be the worst time for Drututt to face the ban hammer. While it’s a seven-day ban, the incident happened just hours after the new League of Legends season started, ensuring that interest in the game is at an absolute high. Many League fans understandably wanted to know what the player who reached challenger rank on all five roles thought of the major changes the new season has brought about.
Drututt also recently announced his competitive League of Legends team that is slated to compete in the NLC in just a short time. Considering the team named 4 Swines & a Bum is primarily known for having League of Legends streamers including Drututt and Forsen, it isn’t a good look for one of the team’s faces to get banned on Twitch just four days after the team’s announcement.
Regardless of what most seem to think online, the streamer’s ban will apparently still last for seven days. While Drututt showcased his frustration on social media, he’ll likely return as soon as this latest Twitch ban lifts to continue trying out the new League of Legends season and all of its updated mechanics.
For the streaming platform’s part, it will likely continue to distribute bans aggressively, even if their inconsistent distribution proves frustration for many viewers.
