Transitioning from League of Legends to Kick, Rybsonlol dominates

Artur “Rybsonlol” Gebicz originally made his name as a League of Legends esports pro, but he’s since taken that success and built for himself a strong streaming presence on Kick.

Esports and competitive gameplay in general, is a major streaming category across all modern streaming platforms. From the top esports organizations battling it out at tournaments, to their players and personalities creating original content for fans, to streamer groups like OnlyFangs sharing their World of Warcraft in the chase for lofty in-game goals, audiences love to watch their favorites play and compete.

Esports players looking to establish or maintain relevance often turn to streaming. It’s an easy way to meet fans where they are while getting to engage in less competitive play, or even just to chat them up. Rybsonlol is one such streamer who took his League of Legends pro esports career and used it to attract tens of thousands of followers on Kick.

Who is Rysbonlol?

Artur “Rybsonlol” Gebicz is a retired Polish League of Legends pro player who spent eight years in the competitive and esports sphere before transitioning fully to streaming.

Rybsonlol first started playing competitive League of Legends in 2017 and has been a member of numerous teams during his tenure. Notably, in 2019 he was kicked out of Illuminar Gaming for reported unsportsmanlike behavior and conduct that was determined to be inconsistent with the team’s values. Rybsonlol then went on to form his own League of Legends Team called StormMedia Fajnie Miec Sklad (FMS) in 2025 before officially retiring from the game’s competitive scene.

As a jungler, Rybsonlol was known for most often playing such champions as Skarner, Jarvan IV, and Trundle. His last tournament appearance came in the EMEA Masters 2025 Summer event, where FMS posted middling results before ultimately finishing tied for 17th place in a crowded field.

Despite leaving competitive LoL, the esports player isn’t done with the public limelight just yet. In fact, Rybsonlol seems to have found a greater degree of success through streaming on Kick than ever did while playing competitive League of Legends.

Rybsonlol gains new popularity through streaming on Kick

Much like a number of other current and former esports competitors, Rybsonlol has made a successful shift from competitive play to streaming on Kick.

As of February 2026, Rybsonlol has over 96,000 followers on Kick and ranks near the top of Kick’s monthly leaderboard for hours watched. With Kick’s watch time growing massively, competition is hotter than ever for those top positions.

That makes Rybson’s place on the leaderboard all the more impressive and speaks to his ability to catch on with live viewers as he bridges his way into a new chapter in his online career. It’s a ranking that puts him up alongside big streaming names like Adin Ross, people whose names are synonymous with Kick.

Despite his initial reputation as a League of Legends pro player, the streamer has more often been playing lower-stakes games since catching on through Kick, often including Minecraft. He also makes time for putting together IRL content. Rybsonlol seems to be willing to record whatever strikes his fancy rather than having a set gimmick or streaming path that he sticks to, and it’s a credit to his online presence that his fans are so willing to follow him across categories.

Other frequently streamed categories for Rybsonlol include League of Legends, as well as Slots & Casinos. No matter what he’s streaming, he can be found almost daily on Kick for hours at a time, grinding away at building and maintaining his streaming audience.

Rybsonlol has also leveraged his Kick career into several partnerships and brand sponsorships. These include deals with sports drink Holy Energy, CS2 skin resale website CaseHug, and the digital gaming retailer Instant Gaming. He has also promoted game called Epitome that is advertised as an AI MMORPG, though his exact relation to the project remains unclear.

Regardless of what game he’s playing or what content he’s putting on stream, viewers have been proven to enjoy Rybsonlol on Kick, and he has proven himself capable of transitioning from pro League of Legends to pro streaming. And considering just how lucrative Kick streams can be, that seems a wise move to have made.
