Kick launches World Cup jersey drop featuring popular streamers

Kick has launched a new World Cup campaign aimed at rewarding regular viewers on the platform. The competition was announced via email to users subscribed to Kick’s mailing list as well as on social media on X.

The email announced that viewers can claim exclusive World Cup jerseys simply by watching Kick streams, with winners selected at random through a prize draw. To enter the competition, users need to accumulate watch time on the platform.

The number of hours watched directly translates into entries for the draw. Users need at least 10 hours of watch time on Kick to receive one entry, while 20 hours grants two entries and 30 hours grants three.

The jerseys are highly exclusive, with designs based on some of Kick’s biggest streamers and inspired by the kits of the 48 nations competing at the 2026 World Cup. On its X account, Kick announced the full lineup of featured streamers in a short social media video.

You can expect jerseys from some of the most followed streamers on Kick, like xQc, Lospollostv, Westcol, and Alondrissa. The choice of streamers is due to both popularity and to reflect the teams that have qualified for the World Cup.

As an example, if a viewer has racked up 20 hours of Los viewtime, and 10 hours of xQc viewtime, they have two entries for Los’ jersey, and one entry for xQc, respectively.

Fan reaction to the jerseys drop

Fan reaction to the World Cup jerseys has been mixed across both X and Instagram. Many users singled out xQc’s jersey as one of the weaker designs in the collection, despite him being arguably the platform’s most popular streamer.

The grey-and-black colour scheme of xQc’s jersey drew particular criticism from fans, with many appearing to favour some of the brighter and more distinctive designs featured in the drop. While xQc was born in Canada, the jerseys do not appear to be directly based on the streamers’ nationalities, making the inspiration behind some of the designs less clear.

LospollosTV’s jersey was among the most praised designs in the collection, with fans highlighting its bold red colour scheme, the “SNIPESQUAD” lettering on the back, and its overall aesthetic. Many commenters described it as one of the standout jerseys in the drop.

Another jersey that received positive feedback was the one designed for Japanese streamer Yokoyamamidori. The black jersey, featuring blood-red artwork, Kanji lettering across the front and back, and an anime-inspired graphic on the reverse, was praised for its uniqueness and visual identity. Fans also noted that the design felt reflective of Yokoyamamidori’s brand and community.

Not every design was as well received. AllanStag’s yellow-and-green, Brazil-inspired jersey and SXB’s white “#1” jersey both drew criticism from some fans, who described the designs as generic-looking when compared to other jerseys in the collection.
