Kick streamer Zein sets new viewership record with huge boxing stream
Multiple Spanish-speaking streamers have been breaking streaming records of late, and now Kick streamer Andy “Zein” Dante Merino has reached a new viewership milestone for the platform.
Spanish streamers are currently in high demand, with the biggest among them setting new records across multiple streaming platforms. Kick has become the most popular streaming platform
for Spanish streamers, and according to recent statistics, they get the most Spanish-language viewers as well. Spanish steamer Ibai Llanos Garatea recently broke Twitch’s
highest peak viewership
record, and it appears Kick took that personally.
Kick streamer Zein broadcast a boxing stream that millions of concurrent viewers tuned in for, helping the content creator to
secure a new record.
Zein helped Kick secure third spot for the highest peak stream viewership
Kick streamer Zein’s boxing stream helped the platform earn the third spot for highest peak stream viewership among other competing streaming platforms.
The boxing event called “The Golden Night” managed to attract 2,556,123 peak concurrent viewers, helping creator Zein secure the new record. The content creator’s new record places Kick in the top three alongside older platforms Twitch and YouTube. Zein attracted a significant 1.36 million viewers, all of whom tuned in to the August 2 broadcast itself.

French Minecraft streamer Gabriel “Shadoune666” Marolt Perez was among the popular online figures in attendance. Shadoune has streamed multiple Spanish Minecraft events and is known to collaborate with the top Spanish streamers.
The Golden Night event also featured musical performances by Peruvian singer Carlos “Tomate” Barraza, Peruvian punk rock band 6 Volts, Peruvian progressive rap band M2H, and Peruvian-American singer A.CHAL.
Who is Kick streamer Zein?
Zein is a streamer from Peru who is active on Kick, Twitch, and YouTube, though he has made the biggest waves on Kick where he set a new record for concurrent stream viewership on the platform.
Zein has collaborated with multiple well-known streamers from across Latin America and Spain. The steamer has also won several YouTube Creator Awards throughout his career. He currently boasts over 800,000 and 572,000 followers on Kick and Twitch, respectively. He also has a notable presence on both TikTok and Instagram.
Zein has also pursued work outside of streaming, including writing books and releasing multiple music videos. The streamer has participated in the Kings League Américas and was previously associated with the team Persas FC.
