TheGoobr's huge win on blackjack

Kick streamer TheGoobr was dragged out of a tilted slump by winning a whopping $50,000 on blackjack, and here’s how he did it.

While most slot and gambling streamers tend to only showcase clips where they win big, the reality is that almost every streamer has gone through slump periods before. Putting up big bets and not seeing the return you want can be disappointing and even disheartening, but betting and casino streamers must retain the energy to entertain.

Kick streamer TheGoobr saw multiple losses during one of his latest streams, getting him quite titled. Fortunately for him, it only took one massive win on blackjack for the steamer to bounce back and start winning again.

Blackjack gives TheGoobr the big win he needs

After starting his streaming session with $25,000 on Shuffle, TheGoobr ended up at just $5,000 after playing the Mines and the Le Santa slots to little success. With not much more to lose, the streamer opted to just go all in on blackjack by putting up his remaining money there. This quickly proved to be an excellent idea for the streamer, as it immediately boosted him up to $10,000 when the dealer went over 21 and busted.

A Shuffle original game, blackjack works on the platform just the same way as the classic casino card game. Players have to beat the dealer by getting a hand that’s closer to 21 than the dealer’s without going over that number. Going over 21 means an instant bust and loss, for either the player or the dealer.

Number cards are worth their specific number, face cards are worth 10, and aces count as 11 or 1, depending on what gives the better outcome to the hand being played. While wins usually pay 2 to 1, certain hits can pay more. Reaching exactly 21 gives the player a blackjack, which at a higher rate, increasing winnings even further.

It seemed like the streamer’s luck had turned around with him working up to $80,000. But he opted to take another risk. He bet $25,000 and put $2,500 each on both of the side bets, which would give him even greater winnings if he pulled the right combination.

Many of TheGoobr’s fans asked him to stop in the Kick chat, as the streamer was already up a large amount. Ignoring them, he decided to start the bet.

Instantly, the streamer found a nine and a king, giving his cards the value of 19. By contrast, the dealer had a 9 and one mystery card. The streamer kept chanting for the mystery card to be an eight, since that would all but guarantee him a victory. While things technically didn’t work out how he expected, the dealer pulled a four and a 10, resulting in a bust and TheGoobr’s balance shooting up to $100,104.

This massive win was more than enough to get the streamer in a better mood, though it didn’t last long. Interested in knowing what would have happened if he’d continued betting big, he played a dummy game with no money on the line. That demo game gave him an ace and a queen, which is an instant blackjack and would have paid out even bigger.
