Spreen is one of the most popular streamers on Kick.

With over one million followers on Kick, Ivan Raul “Spreen” Buhajeruk is becoming one of the most best-known personalities on the streaming platform, and he doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon.

Kick is a global streaming phenomenon, with top creators coming together from all around the world to make content for the platform. Many of the most popular streamers speak other languages than English, including Spanish or Arabic. The site has millions and millions of users, and there’s content for anyone and everyone to find appealing.

As one of the most-followed streamers on Kick, Spreen has garnered the attention of plenty of people for his engaging gaming content and offline activities that play out live on his stream.

Who is Kick streamer Spreen?

Spreen is an Argentine streamer who got his start on YouTube and Twitch before becoming one of the biggest names on Kick.

Beginning his main YouTube channel in 2015, Spreen now boasts an impressive 4.1 million and 8.1 million followers on his primary and secondary YouTube channels, respectively. His Twitch channel is even larger, with 9.7 million followers there. However, he is now much less active there now due to the rise of another rival streaming platform.

Spreen migrated to Kick in 2024, citing financial reasons. He said at the time that he could make the same amount of money in just one livestream on Kick that he could in one full month of streaming on Twitch. Since Kick’s founding in 2022, major content creators across the internet have flocked to the rising platform to take part in its more streamer-friendly revenue split, its potentially lucrative partnership program, and its generally more lax moderation and regulations.

For many, including Spreen, the switch to Kick has paid off in a big way.

Now with over 1.3 million followers on Kick, Spreen has quickly risen to become one of the most-followed streamers on the streaming platform. As of December 2025, he is the sixth most-followed creator on Kick. He sits behind other Spanish-speaking streamers the likes of Luis Fernando “WestCol” Villa Alvarez and David “Davoo Xeneize” Quint, as well as major Kick names like Adin Ross. With Spreen’s rapid growth, it’s very much possible that he could one day catch up to or even surpass those big names.

Nothing should be ruled out for Spreen on Kick, not with him already outpacing names as big as xQc in Kick followers.

Fans are most likely to catch the Argentine content creator streaming his gaming habits, most especially time spent with popular games Minecraft, Rust, and Counter-Strike 2. Much of his content is either centered directly around gaming or his creating tutorials for his favorite games. Additionally, Spreen regularly creates vlogs to share the day-to-day experiences his his life with his fans, as he invite his thriving community to take part in his day along with him.

Spreen creates controversy in professional football

In 2024, Spreen made offline headlines for an appearance in an Argentine football match that led to no small amount of controversy.

During a professional football match, team Deportivo Riestra subbed in the streamer for under a minute to make his debut as an on-field striker. Several media outlets and the opposing team, Velez Sarsfield, called out the substitution play as disrespectful to the sport and to all football players who were attempting to make a career out of their play in the game.

Spreen did sign a contract with Deportivo Riestra in February of that year. Still, many are writing his appearance off as a publicity stunt that they hope won’t rear its head again.

While Spreen may not have a long-term career as a professional footballer, he always has his streaming and dedicated fan following to rely on. With almost 30,000 live viewers to keep entertained during any given stream, he has a lot to juggle already, and he seems to be doing it with aplomb.
