Kick stream reveals the new Stake Formula 1 car for 2025

The Stake Formula 1 team has revealed its new car for the 2025 season live during a Kick stream, and fans are already excited to see it on the track.
The reinvented Stake F1 Kick Sauber team is looking to improve its performance after a disappointing 2024 season with a new team and a new car: the newly-revealed C45. The redesign features a bold neon green against a dark black backdrop, which many fans already feel is an improvement on last year’s C44.
Last year was Kick Sauber’s first year with its new identity, sporting the streaming platform’s familiar green for its livery. While it stood out on the track visually, the actual results were a major disappointment. The team finished at the bottom of the Constructors’ Championship, leading to calls for for major changes going into 2025.

The Stake Formula 1 team underwent massive changes heading into the new year. There’s new management, new drivers, and a new car. The team is also one year closer to an Audi takeover in 2026.
Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will be replaced by new drivers, Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto. Hulkenberg is a German driver that previously drove for Hass for two seasons, and was considered one of the best-performing drivers in F1. Meanwhile, Bortoleto is a rookie who has already proven himself by winning the 2025 Formula 2 championship. Last year it was also announced that Red Bull’s sporting director Jonathan Wheatley would become the team principal, giving it yet another boost for the fresh season.
Along with new racers, the Stake F1 team also revealed a new car, the C45. The crowd largely approved of its upgraded appearance, but the performance details of the race car are still unknown. It’s likely quite similar to 2024, continuing to use a Ferrari V6 turbo-hybrid engine and sporting a carbon fiber body.

It’s too early to know how these changes will work out for the Stake F1 Kick Sauber team, but it won’t be difficult to beat last year’s total of only four points across 24 races.
“Despite the challenges of 2024, the future looks incredibly promising,” Stake said. “Our strategy for Stake F1 Team is all about delivering unforgettable experiences, highlighting our dedication to innovation, entertainment, and global connectivity. We want to reinvent the concept of sponsorship with a team designed for the fan base, and most importantly for our community here at Stake.”
This includes more opportunities for Stake users to bet on Formula 1, whether on the new car debuted on Kick or otherwise.
