Everything To Know About Kick Events, the Livestreaming Platform’s Hub

Kick is back with another feature, and the newly-announced Kick Events hub could result in a noticeably different experience for both viewers and creators.
Kick has been encouraging IRL streamers significantly, having also released a new mobile app earlier this year that can help those creators substantially. The livestreaming platform has also released several other features, including unban requests, daily rewards, and more. The latest to be announced is Kick Events, which can potentially be a positive addition for both viewers and creators. The feature was announced in an X post on October 16.
What is Kick Events?
This is a new feature that Kick is rolling out, which will act as a major events hub where viewers will be able to find events without having to search for them. Kick has stated that all types of livestreams, including marathons, competitions, esports tournaments, collaborations, IRL content, and others, can be featured on the hub. Creators will stream on their channels, but Kick Events gives viewers a dedicated place where they can find live and upcoming events.

A key element of Kick Events is that viewers can watch up to four streams simultaneously on desktop. The streams can be evenly distributed in a layout, or viewers can focus on one with others appearing smaller. Only the active stream’s audio plays, and viewers can switch between chats. Viewers also have the option to add or remove streams, with multi-view requiring at least two broadcasts. Multi-view isn’t a new feature, as it was announced in September 2026, when Kick partnered with Prodigy, but working with Kick Events increases the feature’s potential substantially.
Which events are featured on Kick Events, and can all streamers host their events?
Kick has a dedicated portal where creators can apply to have their events hosted on Kick Events. The process is straightforward, with Kick vetting the applications and deciding whether to approve them. Once approved, Kick contacts the creators with next steps, such as event images and details. Hosts can then invite creators who will participate, as random streamers can’t join simply by adding a keyword to their title.
The current featured Kick Events page shows multiple events, including Brand Risk 16, Safe Zone, COB Halloween Bash, and Valorant Champions 2026. These are either ongoing or scheduled events, and the page also shows previous events, such as MrBeast Team Water, GTA VI Launch, and more. Kick hasn’t revealed criteria that events must meet to be featured, but events by major creators and ones that get substantial viewership will likely appear on the front page.

☑️ My Take
Kick isn’t the same platform it was when it launched in 2023. The livestreaming platform is almost unrecognisable and several massive streamers now exclusively broadcast their content there. Events such as subathons, marathons, and collaborations are quite common on the platform, but it becomes a headache for viewers when they need to keep tabs on multiple ongoing or upcoming events.
This new feature can help with this significantly, as viewers only need to go to one hub, where they will find all the information. The hub will have multiple events featured and listed, which can also help viewers find more content from streamers they don’t follow. Multi-view is also another crucial element, as hosts can decide which streams can be shown in the layout. Hosts also get to choose which streamer is invited, which could become another way to help smaller creators gain exposure. For me, this could be one of the most consequential upgrades to Kick for the whole of 2026.

He now covers a variety of competitive games and esports, as well as the world of streaming, ranging from Twitch to Kick. If it’s of interest to gamers, it’s of interest to Khizar.
