Kick co-founders launch a new platform called Club

Eddie Craven and Bijan Tehrani have introduced another platform, Club, and it has reportedly already started generating payouts for users.

Eddie and Bijan are primarily known for two business ventures, Stake Casino and Kick. The two are poles apart, with one a gambling platform and the other a livestreaming platform. But the duo made it work, and the rest is history. Now Eddie and Bijan have come up with another platform, and many people are curious whether it will see similar levels of success.

What is Club?

Club is an invite-only platform for creators that acts as another source of monetization for them, and it is currently in the early release phase.

By limiting access initially, the Club platform immediately gains exclusivity whilst allowing initial feedback to guide the direction and refine features for both creators and subscribers. The platform posted on X that there has been an influx of creators signing up, and the team is slowly vetting them all.

Bijan Tehrani announced the launch of Club on X and indicated that Kick will primarily offer monetization to creators while they are live. The Kick co-founder said Club is for creators to create exclusive communities and interact with their viewers, increasing their potential earnings whist allowing subscribers to access unique behind-the-scenes content. Creators will earn through Club Cash, and it’s unclear how the split and payouts will work.

Club will reportedly feature:

Exclusive paid posts
Gated communities
Membership-style access
DM engagement
Fan-driven monetization

This essentially makes Club closer to Patreon rather than social media. Bijan also stated that Club is not a replacement for streaming or an alternative for X. Fans will be able to engage with their streamers in DMs and on posts, but the primary function of the platform is to generate revenue for creators through exclusive content. The platform’s target audience is likely top supporters who will pay to interact with their favorite creators. The membership will be recurring, and fans will get access to unique content.

How is Club different from Patreon?

Bijan was asked what the difference between Club and Patreon is, and he replied with an extensive comparison.

Club will have:

Custom emotes and badges
Club Cash tipping
Improved PPV and DMs
Fans will be notified when creators are active on Kick or Twitch

Tehrani also confirmed that Club is global and won’t be launched in select regions. The platform will also release an app for Android and iOS in the “coming summer”. Kick drops will also be done via Club, but Bijan stated they will consider user feedback and see how else Kick can be integrated with Club in the future.
