Kick advisor Andrew Santamaria announces Green Glove Group
Andrew Santamaria announced in a post on X that he has been appointed an advisor to Kick CEO Eddie Craven, where he will oversee the livestreaming platform’s North American expansion. He also revealed the launch of the Green Glove Group.
Santamaria is a prominent Kick associate who has frequently
appeared on streams alongside the platform’s co-founder, Eddie Craven. He has also become an unofficial spokesperson for the platform,
regularly addressing community questions about Kick’s decisions and direction.
Santamaria said he will now report directly to Kick’s leadership as the company continues its expansion across North America.
Santamaria says Green Glove Group will shape the livestreaming market
In the since-deleted post, Andrew Santamaria said he would not oversee Kick’s day-to-day operations and instead would serve as a contractor. He added that
the role would allow him to focus on the platform’s North American expansion efforts.
Santamaria also claimed
Kick has surpassed 100 million
users in just three years, arguing that the platform has reached a point where its core operations are stable. According to him, that has allowed Kick to shift its attention toward expanding its presence in the North American market.

Andrew Santamaria said the Green Glove Group is intended to support North American creators and
organizations, rather than serving exclusively the Stake-backed streaming platform.
Kick has not publicly confirmed whether the Green Glove Group is officially affiliated with the company.
Santamaria said the initiative will “go beyond Kick,” suggesting it will have a broader focus than the platform alone. He also said U.S. creators are at the forefront of the initiative and that the Green Glove Group will “give them direction”.
Although Green Glove Group has not been officially confirmed as a Kick initiative, it promotes several of the platform’s creator-focused features in an effort to attract North American creators. According to Santamaria, creators accepted into the initiative would receive premium access to
Kick’s clipping program, while Kick’s featured, moderation, and partner teams would provide 24/7 support.
Kick has not independently confirmed these plans.
Santamaria added that North American creators who bring authentic viewers to the platform will receive premium compensation.
He also claimed Kick plans to establish offices in the United States
as part of its North American expansion efforts.
While the Green Glove Group promotes several Kick-related features, the platform has not officially announced any partnership or affiliation with the initiative. Santamaria has also deleted the X post announcing the program, mirroring a previous incident in which Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo removed and later edited a post about
joining Kick as Director of Product.
For now, Green Glove Group’s relationship with Kick remains unclear until the company provides an official statement. Adding to the uncertainty, the Green Glove Group website shared by Santamaria was inaccessible at the time of writing.
