Kick streamer Ilyaselmaliki riding Kings League success to football

Ilyas “Ilyaselmaliki” El Maliki is one of the biggest streamer in Morocco, and he’s making Kick his main playground as he broadens out from the success of his Kings League football run.
Kick invites streamers from all over the world to build a home and an audience on the platform through their revenue sharing policies and looser moderation and regulation than what’s seen on some other streaming sites. This has led to all sorts of creators to flock to the platform, speaking languages from Arabic to Spanish and creating whatever kind of content they, and their growing audiences, desire.
Here’s what new and old fans alike should know about Ilyaselmaliki, his content, his appearance in Kings League, and what his future may hold across streaming and football.
Ilyaselmaliki becomes one of the most popular streamers on Kick
Ilyaselmaliki is a Moroccan Kick streamer who has gained attention for his gaming habits, social commentary, and his appearance in the Kings League international football sensation.
The creator first started streaming on YouTube in 2020, and his official channel there boasts over 1.2 million followers. In early 2023, he was among the top YouTube content creators for gaming content measured by hours watched. In recent years, though, Ilyaselmaliki has moved most of his material over to livestreaming platform Kick. Now, his YouTube channel consists mainly 0f music videos.
Ilyaselmaliki has 828,000 followers on Kick, putting him up among the most followed streamers on the platform. And given the ability for streamers to make money on Kick, that has led to some significant financial success for the Moroccan content creator.
His popularity tends to fluctuate with his online presence, as there are times when he takes weeks or even months away from streaming for various reasons. Still, he has cultivated a loyal fan following that is clearly willing to wait for him between his more active streaming streaks.
On Kick, Ilyaselmaliki’s content falls into a few niches. One of his main topics of conversation is analyses of major football events and his participation in the Kings League, as well as commentary on social events and trends in his home of Morocco. Ilyaselmaliki can frequently be found playing games like EA Sports FC 26 and GTA, or otherwise taking his chances with a few spins on online casinos.
Will Ilyaselmaliki pursues football beyond streaming and Kings League?
When not on Kick, Ilyaselmaliki has made headlines for his football interest, including his participation in Kings League that may be leading him towards a future in football.
In February 2025, Kings League welcomed Ilyaselmaliki as the president of the competition’s new Moroccan team Ultra Chmicha. That team participated in the Kings World Cup as part of the Wildcard bracket and in the KC MENA tournament. While it didn’t place top three for either competition, Ilyaselmaliki made a notably big splash in terms of viewership numbers while broadcasting a match between Colombia and Morocco. His stream surpassed 500,000 concurrent views during that match, pushing his popularity to new heights.

Ilyaselmaliki is far from the only Kick streamer to get himself involved with Kings League. SXB and Drb7h both have come to oversee highly-ranked teams in the MENA region. As the Kings League continues to grow in popularity and reach, it’s likely that even more football-crazed streamers will try to become presidents themselves, both for the prestige of potential success and for the clear fan interest that comes with participation.
It’s also worth noting that the streamer has had to take extended hiatuses from streaming while finding himself in trouble in his home of Morocco. Ilyaselmaliki has been imprisoned twice: first in mid-2024 for an alleged incident of assault, and again in late 2024 on discrimination charges. Despite this, the streamer continues to be outspoken while creating content for his large, and still-growing, audience.
Ilyaselmaliki has previously said that 2025 would be his last year streaming, and that he wanted to pursue a greater career in football following his experience in the Kings League. Only time will tell if this is true, but fans should be sure to appreciate his live content on Kick while they still can.
