Dota 2 is a major part of the esports industry globally, and with TI15 taking place currently in Shanghai, traders are utilizing prediction markets like Kalshi to trade on specific outcomes. Should you wish to do so yourself, you can use the promo code WINGGPREMAR for up to $500 in bonus trades when depositing and trading $25.

Dota 2 may not have the same player count as League of Legends, but its community is arguably much more passionate. The biggest showing of this passion happens around the time The International comes around. T1 2026 is finally here, and it brings with it the largest potential prize pool out of any Dota 2 tournament this year.

From fan favorites such as Nigma Galaxy to last year’s winner Team Falcons, the pressure is clearly on participants. In this guide, we will look at the main events taking place on the Kalshi app — so if you are planning to trade in the next couple of weeks then this is for you.

Dota 2 The International 2026 preview

This year’s The International is also referred to as TI15 because it’s the 15th annual edition of the tournament. It is taking place from August 13 – August 23 and those who want to catch it live will have to be in Shanghai, China, or else stream it online. Our Dota 2 TI15 power rankings are the ideal way to get to grips with the teams that are competing and predict which will make it to the latter stages.

The first three days will have the group stage, which will include the Swiss and elimination rounds; this will lead to the main event, where the remaining five teams will put it all on the line.

All teams at The International 2026

This year’s The International has 16 competing teams. All of them are listed below:

The total prize pool this time around is a whopping $2,905,419. The team that comes first will win $1,234,773, which is almost half of that. The runner-up team will get $377,748, and that number will naturally drop along with the final rankings. Our Dota 2 International schedule outlines all the different rounds and when they take place so that you can mark them on the calendar.

Dota 2 The International 2026 predictions

Every team did well to make it this far, but that doesn’t mean that they all have an equal chance of winning. Traders at Kalshi tend to look at the pre-tournament form and individual rosters before making predictions. The prediction market itself is offering chance % markets for individual games throughout the tournament. If you are considering making a trade yourself, you can click the button below and use our exclusive promo code WINGGPREMAR.

An example of the prediction markets for The International 2026 above shows the Dota 2 match between Team Falcons and Team Vision, with the chance of each team winning shown as a percentage. In what is an evenly matched game, traders at Kalshi have Team Falcons as marginally more likely to win, with 53%. This is one of the more straightforward markets, with a binary winner the only choice.

That being said, Team Vision is one of the strongest rosters in the tournaments, followed by other powerhouse teams such as Team Yandex and BoomBoys, so this percentage will clearly change as the tournament unfolds, while Kalshi may offer outright markets on which team will win the trophy.
