Kai Cenat Reveals Japan IRL Tour and Says He Wants To Go to Space

Twitch star Kai Cenat has recently expanded his content to include IRL tours, and Japan is next on the list of places he will be heading it seems. The American kicked off his Exploring the Unexplored IRL series with Iceland, reportedly becoming the first streamer to broadcast from inside a volcano. This was a massive accomplishment, but just a few days later Cenat became embroiled in controversy with Reginald “Reggie” Travers.
Reggie leveled some serious accusations against the streamer, with Cenat even claiming that he will file a lawsuit against the streamer. Nonetheless, Cenat has now seemingly put the drama behind him and a visit to Asia is on the horizon — the 24-year-old has also revealed that he has begun preparations for a potential stream from space.
Kai Cenat to tour Japan with Ray as the next Exploring the Unexplored location
In a recent stream, Kai Cenat talked about the next episode of Exploring the Unexplored, revealing that he will be collaborating with Chen-Ruei “Ray” Hsu in Japan. The streamer also elaborated on what the series consists of, explaining that he “explores nature somewhere and goes crazy with that”. He also confirmed that the Japan episode will comprise multiple streams unlike the Iceland one, which was a single livestream.
Kai Cenat stated that he and Ray will be returning to Japan after three years, and they have several things planned. The streamer didn’t reveal much information about what the streams will consist of, saying he wants to surprise his fans. However, he did claim that the streams will be “lit,” and he’s ready to entertain his audience.
Kai had talked about his Japan trip during the Iceland Exploring the Unexplored episode, but things have changed since then. This collaboration comes during a time when Clover Boys are seemingly going through a tough time, and Ray has left the organization. Some viewers were speculating whether Kai would collaborate with Ray or put a pin in that plan due to the drama. However, Cenat has confirmed that he will be collaborating with Ray for the Japan episode.

It’s interesting that Kai and Ray first met in Japan, and their latest collaboration will see them return to the same country. Ray was a Taiwanese student at the time who was visiting Japan, and Kai was there livestreaming; the two met and connected, and Kai Cenat also helped Ray boost his streaming career through collaborations.
Kai Cenat claims he will stream from space
The Twitch streamer also revealed during the same stream that it’s his goal to stream in space in 2027. Kai elaborated that the goal may not be met next year, but he is putting together a team of “astronauts and people who can study space”. He also said that some of this will be showcased in streams.
Kai Cenat isn’t the first streamer to want to stream in space, as Darren “iShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. has also stated that he wants to go beyond Earth once he’s visited all the remaining countries. It isn’t surprising for two of the most popular streamers on the planet to expand their content and take viewers to the next level and this could well turn into a modern day arms race.
This goal seems too far-fetched to some people, but private citizens have traveled to space in commercial missions, which indicates that the idea isn’t impossible. However, a real trip would require Kai Cenat to go through medical screening, training, and get approvals. Streaming would likely add another layer of approvals and the proper equipment for space. The cost would likely also be on a higher level, and Kai’s team would need to figure out if they need specialized equipment for a livestream.
☑️ My Take
Kai Cenat has stated that he is assembling a team, which shows that he is taking the idea seriously, but that doesn’t mean fans should expect the stream to get on a rocket ship by next year. The streamer has also stated that he is unsure about the 2027 goal, but is trying to plan a way to stream from space. Time will tell whether Kai Cenat is actually able to achieve the goal or if this is merely a viral claim — it is likely to be a question of money and technology.
