Kai Cenat, Duke Dennis and AMP are being sued — here’s what we know
A group civil lawsuit has been filed against content organization Any Means Possible (AMP) and several of its members, including Kai Cenat and Duke Dennis.
Kai Cenat and other AMP members were part of an IRL stream inside a San Antonio mall in August 2025 that led to a massive legal response against the group. The streamers were allegedly requested to leave, refused.
This led to the mall’s security and law enforcement intervening, with Duke Dennis apparently being detained or arrested. The clips of the incident went viral, and there were many rumors that the creators were in legal trouble. While this was unverified at the time, a civil lawsuit has reportedly now been filed against
content collective AMP
and several members,
according to San Antonio Express News.
San Antonio mall security officer suing Kai Cenat, Duke Dennis, AMP for over $1 million
Security officer Don White claims he was punched in the mouth by a man identified as Lavoune Clarke, who the lawsuit claims was a member of AMP’s security team. The lawsuit states Don White suffered injuries leading to emergency treatment.
The plaintiff is seeking more than $1 million in damages
for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and lost earnings, and the suit lists AMP Entertainment, Duke Dennis,
Kai Cenat, Lavoune Clarke, producer Henry Wolf, and content manager Joshua Pujols as defendants.

The lawsuit alleges that AMP members were given limited access to the mall, but the group stayed even after the premises were closed. Furthermore, it claims that the group was told to stop and leave the premises by both security and San Antonio police, but they continued livestreaming.
Clips went viral on social media,
showing AMP members seemingly playing hide-and-seek inside closed Shops at Rivercenter. The clips also show law enforcement apparently trying to lead the group out when a confrontation broke out. This led to Duke Dennis being detained on the mall’s ground floor, while other AMP members were filming from upper floors.
Court records show that Duke Dennis was charged with misdemeanour trespassing and evading arrest, but the charges were dismissed after he completed a pretrial diversion program. However, Duke Dennis is still facing felony assault charges, and the trial is scheduled for September.
The current lawsuit is still in the early stages, and developments are expected as it progresses. The court will decide whether liability is established against AMP, Duke Dennis, Kai Cenat, or any of the other defendants.
This legal case comes in the middle of a busy few months for Cenat. Following a break from streaming, the American has returned with an
announcement for the Streamer University.
