Twitch star Kai Cenat took a roughly nine month break from streaming to focus on his clothing line, but he has now returned and the first item on his agenda is hosting the Streamer University 2026.

Kai Cenat surprised everyone when he announced a streaming break to focus on his clothing line, Vivet. He made a brief comeback for The Streamer Awards last year, but didn’t resume streaming. That has now changed with his Streamer University 2026, and Kai Cenat just went live on Twitch and YouTube simultaneously.

The streamer’s comeback was so grand that he crossed 1 million concurrent live viewers for the second time in his career, and even had to request fans stop gifting subs, as it was slowing down the entire platform. Kai Cenat also announced during the participants reveal that Streamer University will become an annual event and continue every year for as long as he’s streaming.

The previous iteration of Streamer University consisted of students, professors, and a guidance counselor, but the Dean, Kai Cenat, has added more categories in the 2026 edition. There are now students, professors, club directors, campus police, janitors, librarians, and guidance counselors. The streamer has expanded the event, making the theme closer to a real-life university — and  he has finally revealed all the names of the participants.

The total roster comprises:

The accepted students include a variety of streamers, YouTubers, influencers, and creators of different niches. Kai Cenat even accepted an OnlyFans model, Aishah Sofey, who claimed she would leave that category of content creation if accepted into the Streamer University 2026. This has received significant outrage from the community, with many claiming the Dean should have prioritized streamers.

Accepted students:

This was an idea given to Kai Cenat by fellow streamer Nick “Lacy” Fosco, who auditioned in a police outfit. While Lacy wasn’t accepted into Streamer University 2026, Kai used the creator’s idea to make a new category.

Kai Cenat played “Walk” by Kodak Black to announce this streamer, and the accepted creator knew he was selected before his name was even revealed.

With 147 attendees for the Streamer University 2026 confirmed, the next stage will be when the semester begins — Kai Cenat is yet to confirm the start date, but this should be announced soon.
