A multi-year streamer beef has ended, with Kai Cenat and Bruce “BruceDropEmOff” Ray Condones repairing their friendship after a rift began in 2023.

BruceDropEmOff and Kai Cenat’s friendship was very public, as the two collaborated with each other and were otherwise known to be very close friends. This is why their public falling out took many fans by surprise. Bruce and Kai’s friendship deteriorated around the time when the former switched from Twitch to Kick. However, this wasn’t the core reason behind the beef that led to Kai Cenat and BruceDropEmOff distancing from each other.

What started the Kai Cenat and BruceDropEmOff beef?

This beef began in 2023, when the two close friends went from collaborating frequently to not even talking to each other. Kai Cenat explained the falling out, revealing that Bruce had told the Mafiathon streamer that they were “never friends”. The Twitch streamer elaborated that Bruce alleged that he was merely him for content. Kai went on to say that this hurt him deeply and is why the relationship ended.

However, what is a streamer beef without ongoing drama? Something similar happened in October 2023. Alleged leaked DMs of Bruce went viral, where he was seen apparently critiquing Kai Cenat’s short film Global Pursuit, calling it “super cringe”. These DMs were unverified, but Kai and Bruce unfollowed each other on socials, distancing themselves from one another. Kai also addressed the situation publicly, showing private messages where Bruce was apparently trying to patch things up while the public drama was ongoing.

Things didn’t get better, and the two have largely remained distant publicly, without any major drama since the DM episode. However, this changed in 2026, when Bruce appeared as a model at Kai Cenat’s clothing brand, Vivet’s inaugural fashion show during New York Fashion Week. This brought the two ex-friends back into the limelight, and Kai Cenat has since commented on their reconciliation.

Vivet’s inaugural fashion show took place over the weekend, and fans were in for an interesting surprise. Bruce was a model at Vivet’s fashion show, appearing alongside others such as AMP streamer Duke Dennis. The Vivet event was graced by several celebrities and popular streamers, but Bruce may have been the one who stood out given their very public rift.

Kai posted a picture with Bruce on his social media, highlighting that the two friends were back together. He later discussed reconnecting with Bruce, revealing that the two had dinner together roughly one month before the Vivet event. The Twitch streamer also elaborated that he and Bruce hadn’t spoken to each other for the past three years. However, he explained that it was important for him for Bruce to be involved with Vivet, because the streamer means a lot to Kai.

The two pair’s reconciliation has been met with positive feedback from fans and other streamers, and it is a breath of fresh air for the streaming industry. Streamer dramas are common, but a public reconciliation after several years is much less so.
