Jynxzi’s LoL Tournament — Date, format and streamer details

Nicholas ”Jynxzi” Stewart is hosting a LoL tournament, and we now know all the key details, including when it will happen, the format, and a list of many competing participants.
Jynxzi may be most known for his grinding of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege, but the streamer has come a long way since then. He boasts a massive fan following that consistently watches his content, and Jynxzi recently started to play League of Legends. The streamer purchased a LoL account to avoid the initial grind, leading to a ban, but Riot eventually gave him a creator account. Now, Jynxzi has announced that he’s hosting a LoL tournament here’s — everything we know about the event.

The event is a 40-streamer LoL tournament, hosted by Jynxzi, featuring some of the biggest creators in the world battling it out in League of Legends. Initially, Jynxzi hadn’t shared the list of participants; instead, he made a post on X, asking 40 streamers to reach out for his tournament.
The post received massive traction, with the likes of Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, who recently hosted his own 50-streamer event, replying and expressing their wish to compete in the tournament. This isn’t the first time Jynxzi has previously hosted tournaments for other games, with his Valorant event previously being a massive success.
When will Jynxzi’s LoL tournament be held?
Jynxzi announced that the event will take place on May 11, 2026 and will be livestreamed on his Twitch channel. The other participants are also streamers, so it’s likely that they will co-stream the event for maximum exposure. This will allow viewers more avenues for watching the LoL tournament, and potentially increase the total viewership of the event. The tournament is a single-day event, and all the matches will be hosted back-to-back.
Jynxzi’s LoL tournament format
The one-day tournament will feature:
- A total of 40 creators, including Jynxzi
- Eight team captains, who will be tasked with drafting and coaching their rosters
- One Challenger player will be assigned per team
- The rest of the team will consist of Iron and Silver players
This format makes sense, given that the tournament should be competitive but is still an entertainment-first initiative, making it ideal for Twitch. Based on Jynxzi’s past events, the tournament will likely have a more loose format and atmosphere, in contrast to professional esports tournaments.
