performed at the World Cup closing ceremony, was rated number 1 on Complex’s top 25 streamers list, and has now been recognized by Variety.
iShowSpeed is the only streamer on Variety’s Young Hollywood Impact Report 2026
Variety’s Young Hollywood Impact Report 2026 comprises some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment on the planet, including football star Lamine Yamal and global girl group KATSEYE. iShowSpeed being featured on the list is a major milestone, as the creator is known for streaming, but this list gives him exposure and recognition in mainstream entertainment.
The list recognizes him as “one of the biggest streamers on the planet,” with 165 million followers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. It also mentions Speed’s accomplishments, including winning
Streamer of the Year
two consecutive years, his international tours, and his
anime series.
Variety is one of the oldest entertainment publications, having been around since the early 1900s, and is known for breaking news. Being recognized by Variety isn’t a small thing for Speed, as the site isn’t a typical entertainment tabloid. The publication features iShowSpeed with the other celebrities in terms of his impact, which holds weight and is clearly
a substantial milestone for the streamer, who has reached new heights in 2026.

There are still a few months remaining for 2026 to end, but iShowSpeed has already racked up several milestones, making the year one of the best in his career. Variety and Forbes aren’t the only ones that recognized him, as Complex also ranked iShowSpeed as the number one streamer in its 25 Best Streamers list, with Speed defeating the likes of Kai Cenat and other big-name individuals. Speed has also been
nominated for the Streamer of the Year at the Esports Awards. iShowSpeed’s back-to-back milestones have some fans speculating he may win the Streamer of the Year awards at both the Esports Awards and the Streamer Awards, which would be unprecedented.
However, iShowSpeed’s biggest accomplishment may still be the FIFA World Cup 2026, as he got to meet his favorite player, Cristiano Ronaldo, and interacted with countless other celebrities and players, helping him reach
