iShowSpeed and Usain Bolt Reportedly Filming Speed Goes Pro Season 2
A clip is going viral on social media, seemingly showing Darren “iShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. and the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, at a high school track.
iShowSpeed is no newcomer when it comes to big-name collaborations, especially when it involves showing off his speed. He raced Olympic champion Noah Lyles in 2024, and while Speed lost, it was a historic collab, as Speed faced off against a 100-meter champion. The IRL YouTuber also did an entire Speed Goes Pro series, where multiple athletes participated. iShowSpeed had revealed that Speed Goes Pro Season 2 is currently being filmed, and it appears Usain Bolt will be seen alongside the American YouTuber.
Fans speculate Usain Bolt is part of Speed Goes Pro Season 2
As the screenshot below shows, a viral clip on X shows Speed and Usain Bolt at a high school track, with several cameras filming the two. It’s apparent that a student took the video, as the caption says, “When iShowSpeed comes to your school on a random Wednesday, and everyone loses it.” Fans are speculating that Speed and Usain Bolt may be together to film the racing segment of Speed Goes Pro Season 2, but that isn’t verified.

The basic premise of Speed Goes Pro is that he learns from world-class trainers and athletes before eventually competing against a sports legend. This is why the speculation is logical, but it isn’t confirmed whether Usain Bolt will be a trainer or the legend Speed faces off against. It’s also possible that Usain Bolt is there for the series’ trailer and won’t be featured in Speed Goes Pro Season 2 at all.
Another important context regarding Usain Bolt is that the former champion messaged iShowSpeed in May 2025 before Speed Goes Pro Season 1 was released, offering to train the YouTuber. Speed had proudly shown viewers the Instagram video message, where Bolt said he was retired but could coach the American into getting faster. Speed reacted positively and wanted to lock in a training session. The two were then seen together in November 2025, but it’s unclear what became of the training session.
Speed Goes Pro Season 1’s trailer was released one year ago in September 2025, and if iShowSpeed sticks to tradition, then the trailer for the second season should go live in the next few days. The YouTuber hasn’t revealed much about the upcoming season other than that it’s being filmed. However, he did state that Speed Goes Pro Season 2 will also have a boxing segment, which wasn’t present in the first season.
The season’s renewal comes just weeks after Speed livestreamed the Apple keynote event and met the CEO in what has arguably been the busiest year of his career.
☑️ My View: Usain Bolt could be the perfect “boss” that Speed races against
The Olympic champion may be retired, but it’s unlikely that he won’t be able to take on Speed with ease. iShowSpeed is renowned for his athletic prowess, but in the end is a content creator rather than a professional racer or athlete. While it may be wholesome to see Bolt coach Speed and help him get faster, a race between the two may be a better use of their talents, particularly given the 19-year age gap which will be an equalizer.
For reference, Speed took on Tom Brady, Suni Lee, Joey Chestnut, Kevin Durant, and Randy Orton in Season 1. Out of these five, only Tom Brady was retired, but he still participated as an opponent for Speed. Usain Bolt could do something similar, and the internet would break when they see the world’s fastest man take on the world’s biggest IRL YouTuber.
