iShowSpeed streams across multiple countries, says space is the endgame
iShowSpeed streams across multiple countries, says space is the endgame
Darren “iShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. has set a new record by streaming in four countries in a single stream, and announced the goal of livestreaming in space once he’s visited the remaining countries.
iShowSpeed’s
Caribbean Tour
is going viral for various reasons, including the streamer dropping a reported $5,000 phone into the ocean while jet skiing and livestreaming
Grenada’s underwater museum. Now, the streamer is going viral for setting a new record for other creators to try to break.
The streamer visited four different countries in a single stream, reportedly in just 11 hours. If that wasn’t enough, he apparently outdid himself, reportedly breaking that record in the same stream within 24 hours.
iShowSpeed breaks his own record, reportedly streams in 5 different countries in a single stream
The
massively popular IRL streamer
had announced that he would be visiting four countries, including Sint Maarten, Dominica, Guadeloupe, and St. Kitts and Nevis, to attempt to set a record. iShowSpeed’s Dominica segment went viral because the streamer was delayed due to flooding, and announced he would
donate the entire stream’s revenue to the victims. The Guadeloupe session went viral because reports claimed that iShowSpeed was allegedly given citizenship of the country. However, the St. Kitts and Nevis part became controversial when viewers alleged that he didn’t visit Nevis.

The Sint Maarten stream session, though, reportedly created history, and not once but twice. This fourth country made iShowSpeed’s stream historic, as
he became the first creator to broadcast in four separate countries in a single stream. iShowSpeed was exhausted because of the constant 11 hours of streaming, and the streamer passed out soon after setting the record. The streamer was quick to tell his fans not to worry, as he was alright. However, he seemingly wasn’t happy with the record and crossed over to the French side of Sint Maarten, which some people claim counts as a separate country.
Technically speaking, while the French Saint Martin is a different territory and iShowSpeed crossed an international border, it isn’t classified as a separate country, so
the streamer may have set the record of streaming in five different territories, but it was still four individual countries.
iShowSpeed talked about the future of his IRL streams and revealed what he has planned for streaming after visiting all the remaining countries.
He said he’s covered roughly half of the world’s countries, and plans on finishing the rest in the next two to three years. The streamer said he won’t have anywhere new to visit after that, so he’ll livestream from space. Fans loved iShowSpeed’s ambitious goal and asked the streamer to collaborate with Elon Musk.
