iShowSpeed pledges Dominica stream revenue towards flood relief
iShowSpeed pledges Dominica stream revenue towards flood relief
Popular IRL streamer Darren “iShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. is currently livestreaming in Dominica and has promised that all the revenue from the broadcast will be donated to the recent flood victims.
iShowSpeed is arguably the
most well-known IRL streamer, with the American — real name Darren Jason Watkins Jr. — renowned for visiting different countries and interacting with the citizens in wholesome ways.
The streamer is currently
touring the Caribbean
and livestreaming everything. His tour already saw him give out free food, and he also became
one of the first to livestream underwater. iShowSpeed is now receiving more kudos from viewers because of his announcement to support the Dominica flood victims.
iShowSpeed Dominica stream gets delayed because of flood: streamer announces donation
The IRL streamer’s latest Caribbean Tour stop is Dominica, but viewers were surprised when the stream didn’t start on the expected time. iShowSpeed eventually went live, apologizing to his viewers and explaining that things got delayed because of a flood. He said many plans have shifted after taking into account the unexpected natural disturbance. iShowSpeed said there were a lot of things going on in Dominica, but

Viewers were quick to react to this announcement, with the majority praising the streamer for being thoughtful and giving back to the community. Some even went as far as to say this was expected from iShowSpeed, as he’s a thoughtful person who cares about everyone. iShowSpeed’s Dominica livestream is currently ongoing, and viewers have tuned in large numbers to support the streamer.
This isn’t the first instance of iShowSpeed giving back to the community; he’s known for gifting money to fans during his IRL streams, buying items from strangers, and even tipping generously. This is in line with iShowSpeed’s emotional nature, and
most of his IRL content is spontaneous, so he reacts in real-time when he sees someone who’s in a financially tough spot.
These are typically high points of his IRL streams, as they are unscripted and show the streamer being a good Samaritan without expecting anything in return. One of the most memorable acts from the streamer that went viral was him
gifting his bus driver a Rolex
last year after being driven for 35 days straight during a cross-country tour.
