iShowSpeed Ends World Cup tour in style, performs at final and teases 2030
Darren “iShowSpeed” Watkins. Jr.’s FIFA World Cup 2026 tour has come to an end, marking the end of five weeks of memorable streaming, and the American even performed his song at the showpiece final between Spain and Argentina.
This was another World Cup livestream, where Speed’s father and brother were also present. The two engaged with viewers, as Speed was set to perform at the finals, and they even did the YouTuber’s famous “We are here!” intro. iShowSpeed performed his World Cup 2026 song Champions in front of 82,000 people at the stadium in New Jersey, which led to his brother getting emotional and tearing up.
The YouTuber returned and started hosting his livestream after finishing his performance, and started his usual routine. Speed showed off his new jersey, which had the flags of all the countries that participated in the FIFA World Cup 2026. He also announced that Kai Cenat and Speed will do a marathon in the first week of August.
The rest of the stream consisted of iShowSpeed interacting with fans in the stadium, receiving gifts as Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in extra-time to claim the trophy for the second time.

iShowSpeed reportedly hit 48 million live viewers with his FIFA World Cup 2026 finals livestream
Speed’s performance at the final was a massive hit, and it also made him the first content creator to get the honor of performing at such a prestigious and mainstream event. The YouTuber hit a massive viewership record — 48 million people tuned in while he was live. The livestream reportedly peaked at 1.2 million live concurrent viewers, but the total views are still increasing. The FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, also met up with Speed during his livestream, congratulating the YouTuber for his successful performance.

iShowSpeed met several other celebrities during the final match, with viewers commenting that it looks like everyone has come to the tournament. This included action star Tom Cruise, and iShowSpeed commented that the two are the same, and they love performing stunts. Speed also met up with The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley and influencer Logan Paul. The YouTuber even saw Mike Tyson and tried to get the boxer’s attention unsuccessfully, but was soon able to wave at him. Speed was also gifted a diamond chain that had his and Cristiano Ronaldo’s faces by a fan.

iShowSpeed was rooting for Spain in the match and expressed disappointment as the match finished in regular time without either team scoring a goal. However, the YouTuber was delighted when Ferran Torres gave Spain the lead in extra-time.
Speed talked about why he believed Argentina and Lionel Messi keep winning. He said it isn’t because of the player or the team, but because they play “like they have their lives on the line”.

iShowSpeed reveals to play in the next World Cup and travel to Spain
The YouTuber expressed his happiness at Spain’s win by revealing that he will be taking a trip to the country. It remains unclear whether iShowSpeed will livestream the trip, but it’s likely to be an IRL tour, based on the streamer’s track record. Viewers have expressed their happiness and are eagerly waiting for Speed to travel to the country.

Speed also claims that he will be playing in the FIFA World Cup 2030, which is being hosted by Spain. He went as far as to claim that he may not play for the US, but will play for somebody. The YouTuber is known to collect citizenship like they’re toys, and even asked the Nigerian president’s children who he met at the finals, to get him a passport for their country.

It is fair to say that the 2026 World Cup has only enhanced Speed’s reputation globally and his song has 95 million views on YouTube at the time of writing. It remains to be seen which country will be the destination for his next IRL tour, but it is sure to be a major event.
