Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins is one of the most recognizable and successful streamers and content creators across the world today, and he has established a net worth to match that lofty point.

After originally becoming notorious for his ban from Twitch in and a few high-profile moments of seeming toxicity in gaming and streaming, he has largely transformed his image into that of a globetrotting super-athlete and a friend to all. That’s come from both absurd displays of strength, speed, and general athleticism, as well as massive events where he soaks in local culture and history from around the world.

These events have translated to massive viewership, and that viewership has translated into big money. So what actually is IShowSpeed’s true net worth at this point, given all of his success?

What is IShowSpeed’s net worth?

IShowSpeed’s net worth is estimated to be between $20 million and $30 million, as the streamer and content creator has translated massive popularity into equally massive wealth.

While IShowSpeed’s following is absolutely enormous at this point, he hasn’t been publicly linked to an enormous streaming of exclusivity deal like some other streamers. Felix “xQc” Lengyel famously signed an enormous nine-figure contract with Kick, but most of the news regarding IShowSpeed on this front has been about deals he actually hasn’t signed.

IShowSpeed reportedly turned down an enormous deal from Kick that was said to be worth nine figures. Neither IShowSpeed nor Kick ever confirmed the exact details on that deal, but IShowSpeed did suggest that it would have been worth a significant amount of money. For the record, xQc’s deal was reported to be worth as much as $100 million with incentives and performance metrics, and it’s likely a deal for Speed would have been comparable.

The only deals IShowSpeed is known to have signed with a streaming platform was with Rumble. From 2023 to 2024, IShowSpeed partnered with Kai Cenat for the Kai N Speed Show. The terms of that deal were not publicly disclosed.

As for where the bulk of IShowSpeed’s net worth has originated, one need look no further than his main channel on YouTube, where the streamer boasts nearly 50 million subscribers. His most popular videos on the channel have reached up in the hundreds of millions of views, and he has become one of the faces of what is arguably the world’s biggest video and streaming platform.

Speed also boasts a Twitch channel with over two million followers, an impressive number that only pales because his incredible YouTube channel’s size, where the view counts he brings in are known to translate into massive revenues for the few creators who can command such viewership. After all, Speed would only have turned down the huge deal Kick once offered him if he was already making at least somewhat comparable money elsewhere.

For more context as to just how rich someone can become through being one of the biggest content creators on YouTube, one need look no further than MrBeast, whose net worth is estimated to be at least $1 billion and far exceeds even that of IShowSpeed. But if Speed keeps up his incredible pace, he may one day also aspire to such heights.

Is Speed a millionaire?

IShowSpeed, or “Speed” for short, has made many millions of dollars almost exclusively through streaming and posting content on YouTube, easily making himself into a millionaire.

The rise of IShowSpeed was a very rapid one. In the 2019 Twitch leak that revealed the income of thousands of top streamers and the platform’s source code, IShowSpeed fell outside the top 10,000 streamers in terms of income generated from Twitch. This means he made less than $23,500 on Twitch to that point.

His profile grew rapidly in 2021, with his YouTube following growing from a five-figure subscriber count to over 1 million in fewer than six months. He was growing rapidly on Twitch as well during that time, but found himself banned after apparently threatening Instagram model Ash Kash. This saw him pivot entirely to YouTube for a time, and he spent almost all his efforts on growing his channel. As a result, IShowSpeed’s net worth has largely come from ad revenue and fan support on YouTube.

IShowSpeed has since returned to Twitch, even being showcased on the streaming platform as the 2025 Streamer of the Year.

Alongside this, he also has sponsorship deals with a wide variety of companies, ranging from insurance companies to brick-and-mortar retailers. Sponsors have including mainstream names ranging from Doritos to Dick’s Sporting Goods, and while the exact terms of those deals weren’t disclosed, they were certainly worth big money.

He also takes in money from sponsored posts on social media, as well as through the release of branded merchandise. Speed even had his own flavor of the Prime sports drink famously created by Logan Paul. It truly has been quite the ascent from the days of Speed’s more controversial encounters online.

Working against IShowSpeed’s net worth is some lavish spending, though some of that has translated into active assets, most notably a penthouse he claims to be worth over $10 million dollars. The penthouse’s garage is also home to a number of fancy luxury cars.
