iShowSpeed becomes the most subscribed streamer in the world
iShowSpeed becomes the most subscribed streamer in the world
Darren Jason “iShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. has made history by reaching the pinnacle of streaming success and becoming the most subscribed streamer in the entire world.
iShowSpeed may be one of the most viral and famous streamers across all media, with his IRL streams being a significant contributor to his massive notoriety. The content creator is noted for his presence on both Twitch and YouTube, but he’s found across a broad variety of streaming platforms. He recently wrapped up his United States IRL livestream tour and has announced plans to tour Africa next.
iShowSpeed has now added another record to his ever-growing list of accomplishments by becoming the most subscribed livestreamer.
How many subscribers does iShowSpeed have?
Streamer iShowSpeed brokt the record for being the most-subscribed streamer by totaling 46 million subscribers on YouTube in November, effectively ensuring his name is etched in the history of the streaming industry.
And that doesn’t event count the more than 2.6 million followers he has on Twitch, which would push his overall total closer to 50 million.
iShowSpeed’s milestone is a significant achievement in the streaming world, as the content creator has set the bar that much higher for other streamers to chase.
While there’s no doubt that iShowSpeed has surpassed everyone else in the streaming industry, the content creator still isn’t the most subscribed YouTube channel. Other channels, notably including T-Series and that of Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, boast subscribers in the hundreds of millions, but they aren’t streamers like Speed. Their content and videos differ significantly from those iShowSpeed and other streamers of his ilk.

iShowSpeed’s feat is even more impressive considering that most streamers on YouTube don’t even reach into the millions of subscribers, while he has surpassed 46 million. The streamer’s content isn’t your typical streamer creates, as iShowSpeed focuses more on wide-ranging
IRL streaming, touring the world and experience different peoples and cultures as he goes. This is also why he is one of the most recognized streamers in the world, with many even referring to him as the face of the entire industry. He has a fan following consisting of viewers of different languages, ethnicities, and regions, all because of his earnest attitude and how much he seemingly puts into his content.
This also isn’t the only record that iShowSpeed has set, as during his Indonesia tour the streamer surpassed one million concurrent viewers, making him the first English-speaking content creator to do so. Another feat of his was gaining one million Twitch followers within just eight days of
returning to the platform
following a lengthy absence.
iShowSpeed has long been considered the top English-speaking streamer by many, and he has consistently proven why. This latest accomplishment is just one more monument to that enduring popularity.
