Popular streamer and content creator Darren Jason “iShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. gifted his bus driver a Rolex after driving him for 35 days straight during his latest cross-country tour.

iShowSpeed is one of the most popular streamers in the world, famous for his traveling streams where he shows off the world and his unique interactions with fans. The streamer has visited multiple countries, including China, Croatia, France, Italy, and more. He also has plans for a month-long tour of Africa. While that tour will be seen some time in the future, iShowSpeed is going viral for gifting his bus driver an expensive watch to end his latest tour.

What was iShowSpeed traveling for?

Streamer iShowSpeed was traveling for 35 days for his “Speed Does America” tour, through which he visited numerous American cities and provided his fans with much entertainment.

After traveling across Asia and Europe, iShowSpeed announced the Speed Does America tour, which saw the streamer travel across 25 cities in the United States of America. Similar to his other streams, the tour focused on surprises and unpredictable moments, many of which quickly went viral. The streamer met several celebrities along the way and spent time with fans, with some of those fans producing priceless reactions when the streamer appeared.

Speed ended his America tour after more than a month of constant travel, and his hardworking bus driver drove him all across the country during that time. The streamer wanted to show his appreciation for his bus driver, and he went above and beyond in doing so. He didn’t gift the bus driver cash; instead, iShowSpeed presented him with a Rolex watch. The heartfelt gift was especially wholesome because the streamer gifted the Rolex spontaneously after calling his unwitting bus driver over.

This isn’t out of character for the streamer, as Speed is famous for his generous nature and for surprising people with spontaneous gifts. He has previously gifted fans items ranging from gaming PCs to cash for purchasing a new PlayStation 5.

Viewers instantly showed their love for Speed and his generosity, heaping praise on him for gifting a watch worth thousands of dollars.

Watch enthusiasts have pushed back a bit in claiming that while the watch is indeed a Rolex, its price tag is likely nearer to the $5,000 range than the $50,000 number that was being pushed by some fans across social media. The watch is reportedly a vintage two-tone Datejust model that comes without the traditional Rolex packaging.

All the same, the streamer’s actions have still drawn praise, and his fans are already excited to see where iShowSpeed will head to next. Some are wondering whether the streamer will finally travel to Africa for a month-long tour there, something that has seemingly been in the works for some time. Wherever he goes, he’s likely to let fans in on it via YouTube and Twitch.
