This is the second Instagram milestone Speed set during the World Cup, as he also crossed 50 million followers. FIFA also shared Speed’s performance video on its official Instagram account, and the reel became the most-watched video on the account with 78.6 million views and counting. All of these statistics show the power that he and streamers at large now possess.
iShowSpeed talked about his World Cup experience after Spain beat Argentina in the final, talking about how much he has changed over the years. The YouTuber talked about how he started streaming at 17 and how just four years later, he got such a big opportunity to livestream the FIFA World Cup 2026. He also stated that the World Cup streams were substantially different from his other IRL tours, but thanked his viewers for supporting him. Reports suggest that iShowSpeed generated more than 1 billion views on his YouTube channel during the World Cup tour, with the largest viewership of 360 million in a single day.

That number increased by more than 10 million just a few hours after the stream ended. iShowSpeed also generated more than half a billion combined views from TikTok in 24 hours; the YouTuber also crossed the 59 million subscriber mark on YouTube.
iShowSpeed’s cameraman also revealed that more than 30 million unique viewers had watched the YouTuber while he was livestreaming during the showpiece World Cup final. Fans have expressed their happiness at Speed getting such a massive positive response, with some even claiming that he might have been the most popular celebrity to appear at the World Cup.
What’s next for iShowSpeed
iShowSpeed is currently enjoying himself at the FIFA World Cup 2026 after-parties, with several pictures and clips of the YouTuber going viral while leaving Justin Bieber’s hosted party. He hasn’t started to say where his next IRL tour will be held, but Speed did express intentions of visiting the World Cup’s winning country, Spain.
Speed also revealed that he would be doing a week-long marathon with Kai Cenat in the first week of August. The YouTuber didn’t reveal details, but did say the two streamers would play the game 24/7. This is likely the most anticipated sequel to the original Minecraft marathon that Speed and Kai Cenat had done. Regardless, Speed’s World Cup tour leaves him at the peak of his powers and he has never had more global appeal or recognition than now.
