iShowSpeed buys studio

Darren “iShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. is showing no signs of slowing down after his massively successful FIFA World Cup 2026 tour. The YouTuber has almost 60 million subscribers, and has now reached another milestone by reportedly purchasing a $11 million warehouse for his content creation needs.

The IRL YouTuber’s coverage this summer took his global appeal to a new level, and he set major milestones during the World Cup. FIFA made Speed a playable character in the FIFA Heroes video game, and the American also broke several viewership records by becoming the first streamer to perform in the World Cup 2026. iShowSpeed’s momentum has seemingly increased even further after World Cup 2026 finished, as he is reportedly building a content creation studio in a Miami warehouse.

iShowSpeed reportedly purchases $11 million warehouse for content creation studio

According to real estate publication  TheRealDeal, Speed bought a 26,600-square-foot industrial building on a 1.8-acre lot near Miami’s West Little River. The property has reportedly been painted black, including its windows, which makes sense if Speed has plans to turn it into a studio. This purchase and the studio indicate the massive growth of iShowSpeed’s brand in the last 12 months. The YouTuber is known for larger-scale IRL tours, and the production for the content needs more space and equipment.

It’s unlikely Speed will change his streaming format and begin content creation in the studio, and it’s more likely that the property is being renovated for production-related tasks. For comparison, Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, who recently married his long-time partner, also runs his streaming empire like a full-blown corporation. MrBeast’s team even runs extensive testing on thumbnails, to optimize every video.

iShowSpeed’s World Cup final performance and his broadcasts highlight how big the YouTuber has gotten. He is also the first streamer to get close to 60 million YouTube subscribers, cementing his brand as one of the biggest on the platform. This new initiative may help Speed make his content even better, as his production team may have more space and equipment to play with.

Editor’s view: iShowSpeed has grown from a gaming streamer to an IRL icon

iShowSpeed began his career with gaming content, providing viral moments on games like Fortnite. The YouTuber soon began making a name for himself with outrageous and over-the-top livestreams, and he then pivoted into traveling content, where he streamed IRL content and showed off different countries and cultures to his viewers.

iShowSpeed’s audience has been global for years now, and his content during the World Cup has now made him one of the most recognizable IRL streamers in the world. The YouTuber will be doing a marathon with Kai Cenat in the first week of August and has also revealed his intention to visit Spain. These two may be the YouTuber’s next IRL events, but he’s yet to announce his next tour.

It’s unlikely that Speed will slow down, and from the looks of it, the YouTuber will continue with his IRL content — perhaps his warehouse purchase in Miami will take his output to the next level.
