Is N3on Really Going To Be in GTA 6?
Fans are convinced that that Kick streamer Rangesh “N3on” Mutama will be a part of GTA 6 because of an NPC that looks extremely similar to him. The latest showcase of the upcoming video game saw a memorable in-game interaction with the main character Lucia — but is the streamer really going to be in the game?
The GTA 6 Netflix extended look featured an IRL streamer who is first shown in the trunk of a car, talks to his chat, and then does a challenge involving the car. This NPC certainly shares an uncanny resemblance with a real-life streamer, and fans have been speculating that N3on will be a character in GTA 6.
Why fans believe N3on is in GTA 6
The Netflix look at Grand Theft Auto VI showed off some key gameplay elements, including a seamless transition between Lucia and Jason, dog-petting mechanics, and shooting mechanics. While this has only grown the hype for the game, which is set for release on 19 November, social media has been ablaze with the cameo appearance from the N3on lookalike.
This NPC wasn’t named, but he was talking to his chat, was accused of stealing a car, and did a trunk challenge while IRL streaming. Rockstar hasn’t confirmed who this NPC is, but viewers quickly connected him to N3on because of their similar appearance. Some also noted that the NPC used a “What do I do, chat?” catchphrase, which is similar to what N3on says frequently.

N3on also reacted to the streamer, and though he didn’t explicitly confirm that it was him, he said he has “made it.” The streamer thanked people for their support, and also stated that he saw the negative reactions. Viewers connected the negativity to Darren “iShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. and Kai Cenat, as both live-reacted to the GTA 6 Netflix, but didn’t acknowledge seeing N3on. The Kick streamer Adin Ross also acknowledged the similarities.
Ultimately, the teasing by N3on does not make it any clearer as to whether he will be in the game; he would also almost certainly be required to stay tight-lipped until release. Regardless, GTA titles are renowned for parodying popular culture, and given that GTA 6 is set in current day Miami, streamers and social media influencers will clearly be part of that.
☑️ My view: Streamers are no longer a subculture
Fans are debating whether the streamer in the game is N3on or not, but that isn’t the big deal. The larger picture is that streamers are being shown in one of the most anticipated games ever made. Creators are no longer just commenting on popular culture — they are becoming a recognized part of it.
We have recently seen streamers further expanding into mainstream forums, even collaborating with Hollywood stars Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg. So, whether this character truly is N3on or a parody, the inclusion highlights how far creator culture has come. As to whether N3on himself really will appear in Leonida, we will have to wait for November to find out.
