Identity V Championship NAEU 2026 announces official DXRACER partnership

Identity V’s presence in the esports scene continues to grow, and the 2026 Identity V Championship NAEU’s new partnership with DXRACER reflects the direction of travel.
Identity V may not seem like much of a competitive game at first glance. The asymmetrical multiplayer game has familiar elements shared with horror titles such as Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th, but its competitive depth has helped it establish a dedicated esports scene.
While Identity V’s esports events don’t draw the same audiences as some of the industry’s largest competitions, the publisher continues to invest in the scene through partnerships and tournament support. Its latest collaboration with DXRACER is another example of that approach.
Identity V esports continues to expand in North America and Europe
Identity V Championship NAEU 2026 is one of the game’s most important tournaments in the North America and Europe regions.
The asymmetrical game is fairly popular in regions such as China and Japan. Both regions have dominated the competitive Identity V scene, which is likely what pushed NetEase to want to expand its horizons — and that’s where the 2026 Identity V Championship NAEU comes in.

This A-tier tournament runs from July to September 2026, giving players and fans months to witness great matches and pick their favorite teams. It will also mark the region’s first offline grand final, which is a major milestone in expanding to the NA and EU regions. Other major regions have been holding offline-focused events for a while, so this should help equalize the global stage.
Not to mention, this tournament is also extremely important for the participating teams. The champions will directly qualify for the Call of the Abyss X global finals group stage, getting a shot to show off their skills on the biggest Identity V stage possible. CoA IX had an impressive prize pool of over $1 million, and next year’s event will likely be even larger.
The growing investment in the NA and EU Identity V competitive scenes showcases NetEase’s interest in wanting to grow outside of just Asia. Identity V has the potential to be a competitive giant, primarily because it includes mobile gamers. Tapping into this potential could help Identity V become a global name, similar to the likes of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
