Kick IRL streaming app

Kick co-founder Eddie Craven revealed a few months ago that the platform is working on something fresh for IRL streamers, and creator Paul “Ice Poseidon” Denino has given viewers their first look at the upcoming new feature.

IRL streaming is a large part of Kick, with many creators basing their broadcasts around such content. There are, however, some issues with streamers going overboard with IRL streaming and ending in trouble. The most common issue is public nuisance, which has led to some Kick streamers even getting into trouble with the law.

Despite this, there are many positive things about IRL streaming, with iShowSpeed likely being the most mainstream, wholesome IRL creator. Kick is nurturing its IRL streamers, and a new feature was recently shown off in a stream.

What is Kick’s new IRL feature?

It looks like Kick’s upcoming IRL feature allows creators to stream from both their front and back cameras. IRL streamer Ice Poseidon demonstrated how this works in a recent stream, and viewers were able to see the creator in a small pop-up window as he showed off his Lamborghini using the back camera. He also changed the camera orientation later to display his room in the selfie camera and showed himself from the back camera.

Ice Poseidon stated that this feature is on the Kick streaming app and claimed it isn’t available anywhere else. He also said that the feature is a secret, but the clips will be widely seen on socials now that he has shown it off in his stream. The reaction to Ice Poseidon’s claim was instantaneous, with many claiming that this IRL feature isn’t new, and they have already used it on the Kick streaming app.

Regardless, Eddie Craven had talked about new IRL features that Kick was working on back in November 2025. The Kick co-founder hadn’t specified what the platform would release, but did state that it would make things easier and cheaper for IRL streamers. This new feature seems to be a lifesaver, as it allows streamers to show themselves and their surroundings from a single device and app. This reduces the headache and expense of managing multiple apps and devices while on the go.
