How to play Stake's GTA-themed Drop the Boss 2: Maralago game

After the success of the first Drop the Boss game, Mirror Image Gaming has released a GTA-themed sequel with even more quirky references.
This game is exclusively at Stake, and the casino is no stranger to releasing games with surreal themes. The Drop the Boss game is the perfect example of something that could never see the light of day on gaming platforms such as Steam and the PlayStation Store.
The Trump-themed slot now has a sequel that’s based on the Grand Theft Auto series. It’s clear that Stake is gearing up to take advantage of the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto 6, and this is a format that has endless potential.
What is Drop the Boss 2: Maralago?
Drop the Boss 2: Maralago is a crash-style game that was launched in June 2026 by Mirror Image Gaming.
Those who played the original will be happy to know that the general theme is still politics, wealth, and luxury. It’s because of this that the game features identifiable American figures doing things that the internet knows them for: expect Bill Gates, Donald Trump and JD Vance among many others.

Instead of just being one type of game, Drop the Boss 2 has multiple game modes. The primary one is still the physics-based mode where players follow a falling character through obstacles and special landing zones. The goal is to collect as much money as you can without hitting thunder clouds or bombs to ultimately make a profit. Power-ups such as jetpacks and magnets help players win even more.
The base mode has players jumping off a helicopter. However, those who want to increase their chances of success even more can pay more to jump off a bomber plane, or even a space station. The higher your starting point, the more armor you’ll get to protect your character from harmful obstacles.
The influence from the Grand Theft Auto series is clear throughout the game. In particular, Drop the Boss 2: Maralago takes inspiration from GTA: Vice City, whether it’s the pink and blue color palette or the way icons are displayed. Everything from the cash icon that you pick up while falling to the special wanted star icons used to increase or decrease the bet is extracted from GTA.
Because the game expects players to sink a bunch of time into it, players have the option to listen to a GTA-style radio as well at top left of the play area. The radio gives the same vibes as the in-car radio that the video game series is known for and it is a memorable addition.
In terms of win potential, the max payout is worth 10,000x your stake. Each base game round allows wagers between $0.10 and $100 and when you enter the game, the buttons are comparable to that of a video slot — you chose your stake amount and then press “bet”.
There is also a fast-forward option to speed up your character’s journey through the obstacles, but if you die then “RINSED” will appear on the screen.
What modes are available in Drop the Boss 2: Maralago?
The main game mode that you enter is still the physics-based one. This includes:
- The base helicopter
- The ante, which provides one additional armor
- The one where the character jumps off a bomber plane
- A space station
There is even the option to upgrade your character with new clothes when you achieve certain goals — this really is a game unlike any other at the casino. In addition, Drop the Boss 2: Maralago has Drone Mode, which allows you to explore the map and discover bonus modes to experiment with, as the screenshot below shows.

This is a free-roam option where players can discover new ways to play the game and enhance their win potential, for a cost. The mini games include:
- Slot
- Wheel
- Plinko
- Golf
Each of these changes the gameplay substantially, and it is a level of customization that is rarely seen from developers. This ensures that there’s a little something for everyone, making it one of the most memorable games at the crypto casino to go with the unique theme that really nails the satire.
