Aliens Among Us Slot Features
Aliens Among Us offers a thoroughly modern slot experience, with these the key mechanics to consider before spinning.
Alien Symbols and Expanding Alien Reels
The Aliens Among Us slot features four Alien symbols, each connected to a reel of a matching color. These Alien symbols can only land on the central reels (2, 3, 4, and 5). Once they land, they can become wild multipliers and then substitute all other symbols. If an Alien symbol participates in a winning combo, your win value will be calculated by multiplying the shown value. If two or more symbols participate in forming the combo, their values are added before the sum is applied to the win.
Here is how the Alien symbols connect and the slot multipliers they carry:
- Blue Aliens connect to reel 2 with possible multipliers of 2x, 3x, or 4x.
- Red Aliens connect to reel 3 with possible multipliers of 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, or 9x.
- Yellow Aliens connect to reel 4 with possible multipliers of 10x, 15x, 20x, or 25x.
- Green Aliens connect to reel 5 with possible multipliers of 30x, 40x, 50x, 75x, 100x, or 200x.
Alien symbols will also expand if:
- They land on their connected reel
- One of the symbols contributes to forming a winning combo
An expanded Alien reel will cover the entire reel while substituting other symbols. However, it will keep the multiplier value. Finally, only one Alien symbol can land on a reel at a time.
Bonus Games
There are two bonus games on the Aliens Among Us slot:
Beam Me Up
The bonus game activates after you land 3 scatters and awards 10 free spins. During the rounds, the base game mechanics are maintained, but the chances of landing Alien symbols are significantly higher. You can also land extra free spins during the free spins round as follows:
- Land 2 scatter FS symbols: +2 additional spins
- Land 3 scatter FS symbols: +4 additional spins
Farmageddon
The bonus game activates after you land 4 scatters and awards 10 free spins. During the rounds, the Beam Me Up bonus game mechanics are maintained, plus an Alien symbol is activated if it lands on its connected reel. If active, the Alien symbol can also expand and cover the entire reel regardless of which reel it lands on so long as it is part of the winning combo after it expands.
During this mode, the sky turns red and the usually serene soundtrack becomes more frantic; this is a nice touch by Hacksaw Gaming that lets you know you are in a different part of the game.
Bonus Buy
You can purchase the bonus game directly through the ‘Buy Bonus’ option for a multiple of your stake; as follows:
- BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 3x: Every spin gives a 5x chance to trigger a bonus game
- X-Farm Files FeatureSpins at 60x: Each spin guarantees 3+ Alien symbols land
- Beam Me Up at 100x: Get 10 free spins with bigger chances of landing Alien symbols
- Farmageddon at 200x: Get 10 free spins, and Alien symbols can land to expand on reel 2, 3, 4, or 5.
