Kick now lets creators multistream across multiple platforms at once and has made it even easier to do so with a new in-chat toggle option, and we can explain exactly how to do it after these latest changes.

Kick has quickly become a solid competitor top livestreaming platform Twitch, roping in big names with its more lucrative monetization split and looser moderation rules. But while Kick offers better payouts, most streamers will still look to grow their audience across multiple platforms. To support this potential, Kick has introduced a streamlined multistreaming feature for partnered creators.

Starting now, partnered streamers will be able to go live on Kick, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and other platforms at the same time.

How to multistream on Kick?

To be able to multistream on Kick, creators must first be partnered with Kick, then follow a series of steps involving a third-party streaming plugin.

To become Kick partner, streamers must follow Kicks’ terms of service, have a verified Kick account, include relevant links to social media profiles for verification, stream for at least 30 total hours, a meet a few other requirements. Thankfully, it’s now much easier to become a Kick partner with the streaming platform’s new fast-track program, but this may only last for a limited time.

Those who are verified can turn the multistreaming feature. Here’s how:

The chat command has quickly become popular among streamers as it makes multistreaming that more convenient. But while Kick’s new feature is a hit among most streamers, there’s a small catch that everyone should be aware of.

How does Kick’s multistreaming revenue work?

Streamers on Kick will earn 50% less than the usual revenue from their multistream broadcasts. That’s a significant drop-off compared to the standard 95/5 split streamers enjoy after becoming partnered on Kick.

Kick business development manager Andrew Santamaria confirmed that streamers will earn a lesser rate when streaming across multiple horizontal platforms, which includes Twitch and YouTube. However, multistreaming to vertical platforms such as YouTube Shorts or TikTok will still qualify the streamer for Kick’s standard 95/5 revenue split. The idea is to balance payouts with exclusivity. Streamers must either opt for the financial benefit of streaming exclusively with Kick, or to earn revenue from every platform they stream to simultaneously provided they meet each platform’s respective requirements.
