Valorant is a high-pressure game, and players are often looking for any help they can get to rank up. Thankfully, there are many websites that provide detailed data, tips, and tricks to improve in Valorant. However, it’s easy to blank out during a competitive match. To tackle this, Valorant players have introduced an app called Valofessor, which works directly within the game.
Valofessor works like an in-game assistant, providing live, active support in the form of data, timers, and tips.
How to use Valofessor to defuse the Spike
Valofessor has many features, but Spike timer stands as having the most impact of any of its tools. While Valorant’s Spike has a sound that speeds up as detonation nears, it can be difficult for new players to recognize these audio cues during high-pressure clutch situations.
Valofessor activates a timer as soon as the Spike is planted, providing defenders with a discreet on-screen countdown of the seconds remaining until detonation. This feature helps players make clutch plays without the risk of misjudging the time needed to defuse the Spike.
Defenders only need 7 seconds to defuse the Spike. With the timer, they can confidently focus on eliminating remaining enemies while knowing exactly how much time they have left to handle the Spike. Attackers can also benefit from this feature, allowing them to safely leave the Spike radius and save their weapons without fearing a last-second ninja defuse.
But, that’s not all it does. Here are some of its other features:
- Agent select screen – Valofessor provides stats and performance-based tags for the player and teammates while selecting the agent
- Loading screen overlay – While waiting for everyone to load in, Valofessor will display each player’s key stats, performance tags, and stats and tips related to the map being played
- In-game website browsing – Players can access their profile right in the game without tabbing out
- Post-match summary – once the match is over, Valofessor provides an in-depth overview of everyone’s performance
How to install Valofessor
Valofessor is free to download on Overwolf and is currently available for PC only. Unfortunately, this means console players cannot access the application at this time.
To get Valofessor, players will first need to install Overwolf if they don’t already have it. Once done, Valofessor will be available to all. When it comes to third-party applications in Valorant, players are often skeptical, as Riot Games prohibits most of them. However, the developers of Valofessor assure that the app fully complies with Riot’s Terms of Service and guidelines, making it completely safe to use. This means players won’t risk getting banned for using Valofessor, as it does not interfere with gameplay.
