World of Warcraft’s annual event celebrating Valentine’s Day is here and players might wonder how they can best get their hands on the Heart-Shaped Box.
World of Warcraft ensures that players are always on the grind and trying to better their characters so they can take on more enemies and get better loot. Developer Blizzard has added items into WoW that players can use to simplify and streamline the character-building process.
The Heart-Shaped Box is an item that players can get in WoW and it will reward them with unique loot. The box is only available for a brief period of time in the game, so it’s important to get it while you can.
Level 50+ players get the Heart-Shaped Box when they kill Apothecary Hummel during the Love is in the Air boss encounter for the daily Looking For Dungeon quest.
Once Apothecary Hummel dies during the Love is in the Air event, players will get the Heart-Shaped Box in their bags. The only requirement is that players are at least level 50. If players are at a lower level than 50, they’ll instead get the Heart-Shaped Carton.
It’s vital for players who want to get the Heart-Shaped Box for its unique rewards to do so during the Love is in the Air event. Once this World of Warcraft seasonal event ends, the Heart-Shaped Box will be unavailable in the game and players will need to wait for next year, assuming it returns next year.
The Heart-Shaped Box, or HSB, contains loot that is exclusive to the Love is in the Air seasonal WoW event. The exact loot players get inside the Heart-Shaped Box depends on chance but the following are the items that players can potentially receive as loot:
Love Tokens are the currency that can be used to purchase various rewards from Love Merchants during the Love is in the Air event. The most rare drop during the event is the X-45 Heartbreaker mount and it’s only awarded to players that are higher than level 60. The drop rate for the mount is extremely low, but players can try to earn it each day by killing Apothecary Hummel.
