How the new live betting Predictions feature works on Kick
How the new live betting Predictions feature works on Kick
Kick has unveiled a new feature called Predictions that allows viewers to engage in live betting opportunities during streams using their Channel Points.
Kick is still relatively new to the streaming scene, having been launched at the tail end of 2022. But that hasn’t stopped the platform from signing some of the most popular streamers on the planet and making big waves as a result. The platform offers a competitive profit-sharing model making it the preferred streaming spot for many streamers.
That’s not all Kick offers either, as the streaming platform is consistently improving its platform for streamers and viewers alike. The platform just recently
brought multistreaming
live so that streamers can stream their Kick content on multiple platforms simultaneously. It also
introduced Channel Points
to allow viewers to earn the digital currency by simply watching streams. Kick has now introduced another new feature, Predictions, which allows viewers to
use their Channel Points for betting
purposes during livestreams.
How to bet using Kick Predictions
You can use the new Kick Predictions feature to bet on outcomes when a streamer begins a new prediction betting event during their stream.
When Kick initially introduced Channel Points the feature was primarily a way for viewers to be rewarded by streamers for watching their streams live. This new use of Channel Points to bet on various interactive events could make things even more engaging for viewers. If their bets pan out they can increase their Channel Points significantly and get closer to their goals and related rewards.

Predictions are relatively straightforward as viewers will see a banner popup at the top of the chat panel when a streamer begins a prediction contest during a stream. Clicking predict on the banner will bring up the prediction panel. Viewers can also access the prediction panel from their Channel Points menu which will show the current ongoing prediction. In the prediction panel, viewers can then select one of two possible outcomes. They can bet between 10 and 250,000 Channel Points on their chosen outcome according to their preference.
Once the voting has finished the streamer or a chat moderator will select the correct outcome and the lucky winning viewers will claim a share of the Channel Points pool. A viewer’s share will depend on how many points they bet on the outcome. If a viewer selects the wrong outcome they’ll lose their Channel Points. If the streamer or moderator doesn’t choose an outcome within 24 hours, all the channel points that have been bet will be refunded to users.
