Gen.G went into this year’s LoL Worlds event as the favorite to win the whole tournament. While the team stumbled along the way and lost shockingly against PCL contender CFO, its win against T1 put it right back in the race. TES may not have won against any powerhouse team in this tournament so far, but winning against Gen.G would absolutely establish it as a threat to the other remaining squads.

Gen.G vs TES match overview

Betting tip: Looking at TES’ recent performance against HLE, Gen.G will likely win this match without giving up a single game.

Our Gen.G vs TES pick: Total maps to be under 2.5 @ 1.50.

Gen.G vs TES match analysis

It wouldn’t be a stretch to call Gen.G the strongest professional League of Legends team of 2025. The team has multiple major achievements under its belt this year, which can’t quite be said for TES. While winning the first 2025 LPL split was impressive, the Chinese side didn’t manage to bring home any international trophies, though it was victorious in the 2025 LPL regional finals.

Kiin is one of the more reliable top laners in this tournament, and Chovy has showcased his excellent laning abilities already. While 369 and Creme are good players, they likely won’t be able to perform as well against their Gen.G counterparts. JackeyLove is an excellent ADC who can likely compete with Gen.G’s Ruler, but Gen.G has the more consistent jungler with Canyon. Thanks to Canyon’s habit of going for jungle objectives first, it may be a good idea to bet on Gen.G securing the first dragon, Atakhan, and Baron.

Gen.G is likely to win here, and it may be by a landslide. With the team already taking a loss against Anyone’s Legend, primarily thanks to its lax drafting, it wouldn’t be surprising if Gen.G comes out swinging and winsboth games in succession, making it a good idea to bet on there being fewer than 2.5 maps played in the series. That’s a pick that could yield a potentially solid return.

Gen.G vs TES betting picks & predictions

TES has done well to make it this far, but the team hasn’t really been matched up against any of the tournament favorites. By contrast, Gen.G’s performances against betting underdog Anyone’s Legends and fellow tournament favorite T1 strongly suggest it’ll comfortably win against TES, moving on to the knockout stage.
