This Is How Gates of Olympus 2500 Builds on the Iconic Series

Ian John Published 21/09/2026

Since the first Gates of Olympus slot hit casinos in 2021, the series has evolved into one of the most recognisable in the Pragmatic Play portfolio. The combination of scatter wins, tumbling symbols and dramatic multipliers has established a formula that has been followed in a number of sequels and spin-offs.

The latest in that series is the Gates of Olympus 2500 slot, but this game takes a slightly more ambitious approach than simply offering a bigger jackpot.

This includes the chance to activate four possible free spin bonus games, consistent bonus multipliers, new bet options and a top prize of 25,000x your stake.

This highly volatile slot is certainly one for players who enjoy more unpredictable gameplay. Let’s take a closer look at the key details of the slot, which hits all major crypto casinos from September 28, 2026.

Gates of Olympus 2500 Demo and Key Details

Below you can experience the free Gates of Olympus demo, and we have also summarised the key details in a table so you know what to expect.

How Gates of Olympus 2500 Works

If you are familiar with other Pragmatic Play titles in the Gates of Olympus series then the Gates of Olympus 2500 slot will feel very familiar. It is a 6×5 grid which uses the cluster wins mechanic, with winning symbols disappearing and being replaced by other symbols dropping down from above. This can potentially trigger additional wins from the same spin.

Lower value symbols on the grid are the coloured gems. Higher value wins come from other symbols including the hourglasses, rings, cups and crowns.

Alongside the standard symbols, there are Scatter symbols (which offer a payment as well as access to the Free Spins bonus games) and the Multiplier symbol, which can increase the value of a win from 2x up to 2,500x the bet amount. But they also offer another option in the game.

Multiplier Symbols

Zeus can add multiplier symbols to the grid during both the base game and also during the free spins bonus rounds. Values run from 2x up to 2,500x the stake.

Two or more multipliers landed on a winning spin will see their values added together to increase the value of a win. The more multipliers landed and of higher value, are the best ways to land some of the bigger value wins in both the base game and free spins round.

Gates of Olympus 2500 Free Spins Bonus

Four or more Scatters landed on the grid will award you 15 Free Spins, as well as an immediate cash prize.

• 4 Scatters – 3x your stake
• 5 Scatters – 5x your stake
• 6 or more Scatters – 100x your stake

When triggered, the Free Spins wheel selector will appear and when you spin the wheel, you will be awarded one of four Free Spins bonuses.

• Free Spins 1 – This follows the standard Free Spins in the Gates of Olympus format. Multipliers landed on a winning spin are added to a running total which accumulates and which can then be applied to wins later on in the feature.
• Free Spins 2 – This is the same as Free Spins 1, except that all multipliers landed, regardless of whether they form part of a winning spin are added to the accumulator total.
• Super Free Spins 1 – In Super Free Spins, this follows the format of Free Spins 1 but in this bonus, all multipliers are set at 10x as a minimum amount.
• Super Free Spins 2 – This follows the format of Free Spins 2, where all multipliers count towards the accumulated amount, but the minimum multiplier size is 10x the win amount.

Enhanced Betting Options

Gates of Olympus 2500 offers five enhanced betting options, although not all of these options may be available to customers in certain locations.

Ante Bet 1 costs 1.25x the standard bet but doubles the chance of activating free spins. Ante Bet 2 costs slightly more at 2.75x your stake but offers you 8x more chance to trigger the free spins bonus.

Another option is Ante Bet 3 (5.5x the stake) which offers the same as Ante Bet 2 in terms of 8x more chance of triggering free spins, but also means that if Free Spins are triggered, you will land one of the better value options (Free Spins 2, Super Free Spins 1 or Super Free Spins 2).

Higher value options include the Super Spin 1 which is 20x the chosen bet but guarantees a multiplier on every spin. Super Spin 2 costs 250x the bet and guarantees a multiplier worth 25x.

Some areas also allow Feature Buy options for the following cost:

• Free Spins 1 – 100x the stake
• Free Spins 2 – 250x the stake
• Super Free Spins 1 – 500x the stake
• Super Free Spins 2 – 1,250x the stake

These will be sure to be popular with streamers — indeed we expect this game to make appearances in our Big Wins Tracker imminently — but it is worth trying the Gates of Olympus 2500 demo for free before committing to these substantial funds.

Where Does Gates of Olympus 2500 Sit In The Series?

The original Gates of Olympus created the main identity of this series, with the 6×5 scatter pay grid, tumbling wins and multipliers. Gates of Olympus 1000 increased the largest value multiplier and thus increased the win potential.

Gates of Olympus Super Scatter placed more emphasis on landing scatter combos, while Gates of Olympus POP offered a more casual game. There is also the live dealer Gates of Olympus Roulette, which only goes to show how varied this series has become.

Gates of Olympus 2500, however, is more a direct evolution of the original game, with much higher multipliers and a larger maximum win, but it is the expansion of the Free Spins bonus that heralds the biggest change in gameplay.
