GAM Esports vs Team Vitality: Best Odds and Predictions for the Demacia Cup Global Invitational

The Demacia Cup Global Invitational is a brand new tournament in League of Legends. The next best teams that didn’t make it to the World Championship have their own mini-Worlds, to determine the best of the rest. So far, Korea and China have kept winning as always. Looking at leading sportsbook GGBet, here are our predictions and the best bets to pick for GAM Esports vs Team Vitality.
How good is GAM Esports?
GAM used to be the stronghold of the LCP, attending each international as their representative. However, Asia-Pacific is the most volatile region. As a league with little funds and a low ceiling, it doesn’t have much to keep its best players around, and the LPL is happy to make good offers to the solid players from the LCP. This is how CTBC Flying Oyster fell from grace after JD Gaming recruited two of their players this year.
In 2026, GAM Esports is not the team that it once was. The team finished in fourth place, but there is a high step between each position in the LCP. Team Secret Whales beat CFO 6-0, who then went 6-1 against MVK Esports, who in turn has a 5-2 record against GAM. In other words, GAM should not be expected to be all that competitive.
However, this is Vitality they’re facing, and Vitality is a question mark. VIT was a top two regular season team all year long in the LEC, only to be the worst in the playoffs. Every single split — every single split since joining the LEC in 2016, even — they’ve failed in the playoffs. No matter how good their regular season, they never crossed a 50% series win rate come the important series.

Best odds and predictions for GAM vs VIT
Looking closely at LoL betting odds, here are some of the best bets for GAM vs VIT.
- Take the first map to go under 29:30 at 2.14 odds at GG.Bet. So far, 10 out of 14 games have finished below 30 minutes at the Demacia Cup. Alternatively, there are safer alternatives with higher game times, each with a lower payout. Either way, best to bet under a duration rather than over it.
- Take game 1’s total kills to go under 30.5 at 1.58 odds. With games being short and one-sided, they finish with low kill numbers. Only two games so far have gone over 30.5.
- For a risky, high-value LoL bet, take GAM to win the series at 3.84 odds. Seeing Europe’s level and Vitality’s tendencies to crumble under pressure, GAM actually has their chances and odds of 3.84 make for something worth trying at an esports betting site.
☑️ My View
I don’t trust Team Vitality. I don’t believe VIT’s struggles in playoffs are simply due to the “playoffs” name, or to the different format, but rather that they don’t play up to their standards when the stakes are higher – which they are. Additionally, Solary reportedly beat Vitality 4-0 in scrims.
Vitality lost to BNK FearX, which isn’t catastrophic seeing that Korea appears to be the best region at the Demacia Cup. However, Natus Vincere lost against Brazil. So I think GAM might actually win this series.
