G2 Esports raised many eyebrows by being the only Western team to qualify for the knockout stage, defeating 2024 Worlds finalist BLG in the process. Caps is a reliable mid-laner who brings a wealth of experience to the LEC side, while Hans Sama is arguably the best ADC from his region. TES is no slouch though, as the team’s ADC is a former World Championship winner with great carry potential, and Kanavi is a strong jungler with an aggressive playing style that already helped TES to dominate a Swiss Stage match against G2.

Speaking of aggressive playing styles, every TES player is fairly aggressive, especially in the early game stages. This aggression may give TES first blood, making for a bet with a decent potential return. Skewmond’s jungling for G2 is more objective-oriented compared to Kanavi’s fighting style, which may see G2 secure the first dragon. The same likely won’t apply to the first Baron, as TES could already have a strong enough lead to win any team fight surrounding that later jungle objective.

TES’ biggest strength against G2 will likely be the team’s top laner. 369 is a much more consistent player than is G2’s BrokenBlade, who has shown a bad habit of folding under pressure. With Kanavi likely ganking top multiple times to apply that pressure to BB and aggressive players across the map creating stacking advantages, TES may defeat G2 without giving a single game to the LEC team. Considering the maps being under 3.5 is a pick with strong return potential, banking on it may be a good option for those betting on Worlds.
