After their varying international performances last year, G2 Esports and PRX are now slated to face off for the first time since December of last year. Their domestic matches suggest that both teams are far from their peak forms currently, which may also be why betting odds have the teams tightly positioned with each other.

G2 Esports vs PRX match analysis
PRX had an excellent 2025, winning Masters Toronto and cracking the top five at Champions. The team may have stumbled against T1 and RGQ in the recent VCT Pacific split, but its lower bracket run was extremely strong. In particular, f0rsakeN, invy, and something are all reliable players who usually come through with strong play.
While d4v41 may struggle mechanically, he’s a good IGL who has led his team to victory multiple times.
As for G2 Esports, the team has one of the most well-known rosters because of its early 2025 run of success. But it hasn’t been able to recapture that dominating performance in international events, perhaps in part because of Tejo’s nerfs. Still, jawgemo and leaf are strong players who can more than give PRX a run for its money.

Despite G2’s powerhouse players, the team is in a bit of a slump. In particular, jawgemo didn’t seem to be at the top of his game in the recent domestic VCT split. If he doesn’t snap out of it, then it wouldn’t be a stretch to see PRX dominating in all of the pistol rounds, especially since jawgemo is usually G2’s primary pistol fragger.
Siding with PRX to win the eco rounds could be a good idea for this match, especially considering the fairly high potential return there.
This doesn’t mean the match will be easy. G2 and PRX have both showcased high levels of skills with their current rosters, especially with G2’s Babybay having better settled into his new role. While G2 will likely get at least one map, there’s a good chance that PRX will walk away from this match as the victor. Because of this, taking the over on 2.5 maps with PRX as the victor could be the way to go.

G2 Esports vs PRX betting picks & predictions
PRX and G2 have showcased similar levels of play recently. While they struggled in their respective domestic leagues, the wins they needed to find were had convincingly enough. Still, PRX seems more ready for an international breakout than G2, and it wouldn’t be surprising if the team comes through in this match.
Best picks
- PRX to win pistol rounds @ 1.87: G2’s players are more efficient with primary weapons than with pistols, which could give PRX the advantage in early pistol rounds.
- Total maps to be over 2.5 @ 1.91: Both teams have shown similar form of late, which suggests that this match may go the distance.
