G2 Esports in the 2026 LEC Versus

Los Ratones may have bounced back following its four consecutive losses in the 2026 LEC Versus regular season, but our predictions in this betting preview of the team’s upcoming match against G2 Esports suggest it may be in for another tough go on the Rift.

Betting favoriteG2 Esports

G2 hasn’t performed as well as fans expected it to after a flawless run in last year’s final LEC split. The team is currently in the middle of the pack, though that still puts it over the inexperienced Los Ratones. The main question here is whether G2’s experience and skill can take down the unpredictable Los Ratones, or if LR can somehow find a major upset.

G2 Esports vs Los Ratones match preview

Betting tip: Both G2 and Los Ratones both usually play for the late game, suggesting that the game could last for over 30 minutes.

Our G2 Esports vs Los Ratones pick: Total match time to be over 30.5 minutes @ 1.86.

G2 Esports vs Los Ratones match preview

It’s no secret that G2 Esports has some of the strongest individual players in the European region. Hans Sama is an excellent ADC, and Caps brings a wealth of skill and experience to the middle lane. While the team’s jungler is reliable enough, BrokenBlade is an anomaly in the top lane. The team’s match against Karmine Corp proved that G2’s top lane needs the most work and is the team’s weakest spot.

Add the fact that support Labrov’s influence usually isn’t felt much past the laning phase, and it’s clear that G2 needs more juice if it still has championship aspirations in 2026.

This isn’t to say that Los Ratones is in any better shape. The team may have a reliable bottom lane with Rekkles and Crownie, along with a strong middle lane with Nemesis, but the team doesn’t typically have the coordination to make game-winning plays. The match against Team Heretics saw Nemesis carry much of the load. While Thebausffs played well against Shifters in the top lane, Velja hasn’t shown the consistency needed to rely on him as the team’s jungler.

Typically, G2 and Los Ratones are both relatively passive when it comes to going for first blood. The two wins LR has found gave it a much-needed confidence boost, which could push it to make more aggressive plays early, similar to how the team came along in previous tournaments played. This could make it a good idea to side with Los Ratones to get first blood, especially considering the decent potential return that comes with the team being the overall underdog.

Los Ratones may be slowly getting its bearings, but the team has yet to win against any of the top regional teams in the LEC. G2 knows how to snowball even a small gold lead into a comfortable win, as seen against such teams as Vitality and Shifters, which eventually could give G2 the win in this match. But with how passive G2 usually is, paired with the decent defensive abilities LR has shown, taking the over on the game lasting 30.5 minutes may be the way to go.

G2 Esports vs Los Ratones betting picks & predictions

G2 Esports has been getting overshadowed in the ongoing 2026 LEC Versus regular season. Still, the team has the consistency and skills to win against a weaker team such as Los Ratones, which has only just managed to win its first matches and find some footing. While LR could learn to be a more formidable threat as it learns to better compete on this stage, it doesn’t seem to have what it takes to beat G2 just yet.
