G2 Esports vs Nongshim RedForce Match Analysis
Both teams enter this matchup after convincing victories in their opening playoff matches and will be riding high on momentum.
G2 Esports are currently on a six-map winning streak, but it’s still pretty difficult to gauge their true level at the moment. The team dropped the ball in their opening match against Paper Rex, and since then, they have only faced Chinese teams – who are widely considered some of the weaker teams at the event.

This series against Nongshim RedForce will be their first match against another region since losing to Paper Rex, and it’ll be against Asia Pacific’s first seed.
On the opposing side, we have Nongshim RedForce, who are coming off an impressive victory over Gentle Mates. It was a great opening win as Gentle Mates were considered a top contender before their loss against All Gamers.
Although we’ve only seen the South Korean squad play one match at the tournament so far, the team’s individual form was inspiring, and we’ve been really liking what we saw. The team looks well-prepared and definitely have some tricks up their sleeve, as they’ve only shown a small sample size so far.
In terms of veto, we don’t really see any clear advantages or disadvantages, so both teams should be able to secure comfortable map picks. G2 will most likely get their hands on Split, while Nongshim should opt for Haven. We also predict that Corrode can end up as the decider, which is a map both teams have shown solid form on. We could very well be in for a competitive series.

G2 Esports vs Nongshim RedForce Betting Picks and Predictions
While G2’s streak of three wins in a row may look frightening, we fancy Nongshim’s chances here, especially when they’re being offered at 2.20 odds to take the match.
We believe the South Korean squad is in good form, and since they’ve only played one match at the event so far, it could make preparation harder for G2.
Our pick will be Nongshim RedForce to win the series, though it can be a pretty risky bet. However, this matchup has all the potential to become a very competitive three-map affair, so taking over 2.5 maps could also be a good angle.
